I LOVE Walgreen's

There is always something exciting going on there. The girls in the cosmetics department are so funny and helpful. Good customer service and they tell you about what's on special.
I bought some more of the Alpha Hydrox souffle which Fryl recommended and although it was not on sale, the cashier gave me $$ off anyway. I am loving this line.
A friend from Oklahoma swears by Walgreen's Cucumber and Aloe lotion, which is 99 cents for a tube and $1.99 for a large bottle. It's way less expensive than Vasoline Intensive Care.
Smells like cucumbers and is kind of thin but works well.
Also noticed Walgreen's is carrying their own version of the WalMart Simply Basic line of BBW imitations. VERY good prices and they also have a Plumeria!!!
I'm glad they are opening two more 24 hour Walgreen's here.
I'd even work at Walgreen's! Have had FOUR interviews at Sephora and you'd think they were interviewing for a BRAIN SURGEON rather than a color or skin specialist.
I shall pick up an application at Walgreen's today just for the heck of it.

Husband and I took a late night trip to Walgreens last night for some Prilosec, and I bought one of those Lip Smackers Fresh Juicee glosses. They tempt me every time I go in, but I never buy one.

Let me say, I now have to go back and buy every flavor!

I got the Strawberry Splash... it's sooooooo yummy, and feels great on. I might even like it better than TD gloss. The flavor lasts a long time too. The taste was harsh for about 5 seconds, I thought it was like cough syrup, but it sweetened up right away. Really cute packaging too. http://www.smackers.com/freshjuicee/

Well I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a "swooper". I'll put an item in favorites and come back when the auction is about to end and try to get it for the cheapest price. I don't see anything wrong with it. People who bid early, like days before auction end, drive the price up making it not such a good deal. I mean look at all those crazies bidding on a $50 gift card with $5 shipping and winning it for $65. That's just stupid. And on the flip side, I've been "swooped" so I do know how it feels. Like the guy that cuts you off at the exit ramp on the freeway.

Oh, and Jeff, I used to work at Walgreens. Back in the day before scanners and 2 ad weeks. Remember when they had an ad on Wednesday & another new ad on Sunday? Yea, I had to memorize those! That was ions ago...lol

Plus we have this contest going on where if we have a UPT (units per transaction) of 4.0 or higher we get a prize. We had two segments with a 4.0 or higher so I got two prizes:
An Anthony Logistics Eye Cream and a Murad Pomegranate facial wash/toner

4 UPTS?? But we are in the 4 for $10 promos--that almost guarantees a 4 UPT! Good for you edward, those are some pretty cool prizes-I had a contest going for 5 UPTs, and we made 3 of them!! I gave out $5 giftcards!

We have trouble with our UPTs...we have the lowest of flagships in the disctict. Our ADS is pretty steady, though, and we have one of the highest volumes in the district, but the other metrics are a bit wonky.
