I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!

I'm now on a Japanese Cherry Blossom kick ever since a lady I work with wore it last week and I fell in love with it. In 2005 when it was released, I actually worked at BBW and hated the smell!

So I was on a mission to get some JCB for myself and stock up while the sales were still good, so I went to 2 BBW's over the weekend. I used my 20% off coupon and got the following items:

6 JCB body creams (Buy 3, Get 3 Free)
1 JCB foaming sanitizer (Free w/coupon)
2 JCB trial-sized lotions (Free w/coupon)
2 JCB travel-sized edts (50% off)
1 JCB pocketbac ($1)

After all my coupons and sales I think I spent around $45. I'm really happy with everything I got, especially since I didn't have anything JCB, and now that I love the scent, I can wear it all the time!

I've been on a 'no buy' lately due to dental expenses and property taxes.

From what I saw of the 'sales' online, it seems to be the same old stuff at higher prices.

Interesting to note...Crabtree and Evelyn has declared bankruptcy...and The Body Shop has shut down their Body Shop @ Home business and plans to close several stores in the near future.

BBW really needs to come out with something new and innovative...like soon.

I haven't made any beauty related purchases this month.

But I did buy Season 1 of Dexter @ Target last wk. I got it on sale for $20 from I raincheck I had gotten a few wks. prior to that.

Decided to stop by The Body Shop as they have a new Organic Coconut Body Butter.

It was on sale...buy one get one half off. Scrubs also as well as all body butters

I have to give them an A for effort for this product. And they do need the business.

They were burning a satsuma and coconut HFO blend in the store and it was rather pleasant and on SALE.

I too, have recently been very much into the Japanese Cherry Blossom fragrance which I never even tried until about 4 months ago. The lotion is heavenly so I bought

* another JCB body lotion
* a JCB EDT.

I also bought a new tub of St. Ives Collagen Elastin moisturizer. I just love the smell of it although I do kinda miss the old pink jar it came in

Oh and I agree totally that BBW needs to come out with something soon with real WOW Power.

So I'm in the process of hanging/changing the curtains in my house. I've had such a hard time but I finally decided simple is better for me. So I purchased some Lisette panel rod sheers from JC Penney in Mocha along with some toga valances to go on top. It is only the beginning of my curtain project; next up is the patio door and master bath I think. I also ordered a comforter set (Eliot) that is backordered til 8/14. I'm so excited to receive everything!

hey everyone, no buys for me except my new
place i moved last month.
i transferred my internet, but was having bad pc problems, and i had to start all over again, had a virus, which i could not get into my email and etc,
so im on a no buy, but qvc did have a philosophy show which i was watching recently and they have watermelon as a new scent
smells just like jolly rancher watermelon
and the other two summer scents in small bottles, but maybe will get one when my wallet feels a little better, lol

I "bought" a cruise for me and my family. We are treating my daughter who graduated from college in May. We are also celebrating my husband's retirement from the Army after 25 years and the blessing of a new job starting Aug 31.

We also purchased a 55" LCD television yesterday. All I got to pick out was the stand but it is a very nice stand! The television is DH's retirement present to himself. LOL! Hey, I'm all on board because he deserves it.

Those are smaller versions of the EDTs, 1oz instead of 2.5oz, so they are nice for travel or for your purse.
