Do you remember the Original Strawberry Shortcake Dolls from the 1980-s?? (not the ugly azz poor excuse of a doll they sell in stores now LOL) Vanilla Lace, to me, smells EXACTLY like the Angel Food Cake doll, absolutely YUMMY! She was my favorite smelling doll that I had growing up, right next to Lemon Meringue. Angel Food had the white hair,a blue? violet? dress and she came with the purple skunk.

Vanilla Lace is a stronger vanilla than BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar. I actually like Vanilla Lace a little better...they really don't smell similar at all, IMO.

I agree, ana. Vanilla Lace and WVS don't smell anyhting alike, and I too like Vanilla Lace better.

one thing to be careful about Vanilla Lace...I bought a lotion and a splash, around late 2001-2002, and I remember during the summer of 2002 I would use both of those products and they would stain my clothes yellow! Now I have a new batch and I haven't seen any stains yet, but be careful! Maybe when they changed the lotion formulation they changed the dyes as well?

I had a problem with a VS splash staining my clothes. Enjoy the Vanilla Lace!

Great info on the vanilla lace no longer staining. This was always a problem in the 90s; will have to think about trying it again. Thanks, guys! Flower

When I had to find a new vanilla lotion to replace Vanilla Bean, I actually went w/ Warm Vanilla Sugar. I think Vanilla Lace smells OK, but the yellow dye in the lotion makes it look too much like banana pudding and not enough like vanilla. The only Vanilla Lace product I've seen that actually looks like vanilla is the body cream.
