They're getting out their back to school/college dorm stuff. Fryl, they had a lot of HK stuff w/ an apple design in the back to school section.

I picked up a VS Pink Fruity & Bright lotion with the pump. I like how it has a pump because I plan on keeping it at my desk at work.

I got to go to the Sanrio store, and I did find a couple of notepads there but not as cute.

I bought 5 Fresh Vanilla body creams today for only $1.05 each. The store had tons of them!
I am not sure of the name of the mall, but I think it was Dadeland (in Miami), if anyone is interested in getting some too.

I bought two pairs of black pinstripe pants from NY&CO for work, only $7.99 each! I'm starting quite a collection of business attire for work!

I had some time to kill yesterday afternoon, so I thought I might be able to spend some 'chump' change at BBW, VS or The Body Shop.

There was absolutely NOTHING to buy.


They were pimping the 'leaves' at BBW and there was a sorry collection of a whole lot of nothing.
Mini's for the Amethyst were at the cash wrap for $1. No buy.

Victoria's Secret also looked bombed out. I did get a laugh over the PINK body washes and lotions though.

They look like those huge containers of laundry detergent you can get at the grocery store.


No gift sets or new Garden Scents to be found.
Our local VS looks like it's closing. Lots of 'white walls' in the mall where stores have closed. VSB is already history.

The Body Shop had the usual stuff. The manager did say there are revamping the essential oils line. Whoopee...how 80s.

So all I bought was 3 hours of parking for 50 cents!

I've noticed a lot of closures in my area as well. I guess it's a sign of our times! Sad but true.

Lovey, I've tried Philosophy's Waffle Cone & thought it was awesome. Belgian Waffles is pretty much the same thing. BBW Crazy Caramel Corn/Salty Caramel Ice Cream is also pretty similar to those Philosophy scents.

I ended up doing lots of shopping while on vacation. The BBW ended up not being an outlet, even though the website said it was. The SA said lots of people come in thinking the same thing since they are in an outlet mall. So needless to say I didnt find any Temptations, we have an outlet here so I may have to check that out in a couple of weeks.

I won 5 Tae Bo Bootcamp DVDs and Resistance Bands. I got a good deal too, everything for under $30 (including shipping!), which is pretty good considering the DVD's and bands are $15 each retail price.

Bad news: I'm having computer problems. It's basically dying on me & running super slow. So I might not be able to be on as much until technical issues get sorted out.

Keeping on topic, I did get my hair done yesterday. It's all layered & highlighted now.

And I got packages from Philosophy & IOE in the mail today.

I found 3 hard-to-find Chanel nail polishes in Azur, Red Dream and Barcelona Red.

I also got a back up powder foundation.

If you like Chanel makeup, you might check out Bourjois which makes the 'contents' of the Chanel compacts. Sephora used to sell Bourjois which owns Chanel but no longer does.

My best friend's fiancee who lives in the UK just brought her a huge bag of Bourjois cosmetics which we color matched on line and called him on Skype to pick up.

When I worked at S******, I refilled a LOT of Chanel foundation bottles and lipsticks with Bourjois products..off the clock of course. And after the customer had made the purchase.

It's pretty easy to insert a lipstick 'bullet' into a new Chanel case and hit it once gently with a hair dryer.

I did some shopping today. Nothing too exciting, basic household needs. I also went to Sams Club and stocked up on some things. While there I bought a new cookbook, its called Hungry Girl (I thought the name was cute) Anyways it has tons of recipes, and they are all good for you. Every recipe lists the nutritional info. I have a friend who goes to their website and says the recipes are excellent. I didnt know they had a cookbook, so hopefully its good.
