Macy's / Bobbi Brown counter: Rose Shimmerbrick - I've been wanting one of these for a long time and finally decided to take the plunge today and get one. I'm kind of regretting the purchase though, because on me, it gives me the same effect as my Porcelain Pink MSF from MAC. I haven't used mine yet, but the MA at the BB counter put some on me. I felt obligated to buy something since she had put it on me. I know, I know... I'm not obligated to buy anything but I felt guilty not to.

Macy's / MAC: Bought 3 more backups of 15 Minutes lipstick.

TDJ, it's funny because I purchased a BB shimmerbrick before I got the MSF, and thought the same thing!

I also have a Smashbox Photo Finish Primer somewhere, but have not used it yet.

I the BB Shimmerbricks! I have them all except for Brownie and Peach. I might buy Brownie next summer. I guess BB is also coming out with a Gold one soon.

I love shimmery makeup, but as I get older I'm going to have to alter my habits. Wrinkles + shimmer do not = a great look.

I went into Eckerd for a quick visit & ended up buying VO5 Strawberries & Cream conditioner.

Stopped at BBW yesterday. Here's what I got:

AG Flavor Blast lip balm x6 - sour apple, lemonade, mango, peppermint, berry, grape

I really like the Cinnamint balm - it does feel like you just chewed a stick of Big Red, just a little less intense. I really like the AG balms. The tins are huge, but I still would rather stick/tube form. The texture is almost gel-like and the flavors are great! So far lemonade and grape are my favorites

I just had to go to Wendy's tonight & get a vanilla Frosty. OMG, it's YUMMMY!! Ya'll have to try it the first chance you get.

We had our fast food 'binge' at Dutchess last night. Hot dogs with the 'works', grilled cheese with bacon bits and chili cheese fries.


A trip to BBW yielded some Pink Grapefruit stuff B3G1F ( it's very refreshing in the heat), small bottles of AT BCV, CLV and BRV anti bac foaming and lotion soaps, and more EC trial sizes. Also got a free Passbook and a coupon for a free room spray with any $10 purchase.

It was at another mall where they don't know me so I used coupons instead of an employee discount.

The SA were clustered around the cash wrap trying to figure out what a 'flagship store' is since one is opening nearby.

Did I tell them? Nope. SA should know these things...WE do.

I've been absent from this forum for a long time and now I'm trying to stay on track again I went to 4 TJ Maxx around my area hoping to find bargain deals to organize my bathroom. I found good clearance items:

- Over the toilet spacesaver for $15, chrome finish (screws missing) Screws costed me around $11; Spacesaver is normally priced around $60.

- Toilet tissue holder with magazine rack $14.99

D&G Light Blue is an excellent fragrance. The top note is granny smith apples.


I've seen Light Blue for as little as $29.00 at Walgreen's.

While picking up a prescription for one of my private duty patients, I spotted Cotton Candy Body Spray for $3.19 at Brooks. It's by Prince Matchabelli (PDC). Rather long lasting and matches the PDC body cream and splash.
Fragrance description is, "A wonderful blend of spun sugar and creamy vanilla combined with notes of tender strawberries, lush raspberries and clean musk."

Much better than the Calgon Cotton Candy and for under $4 you can't go wrong. WalMart or other chains might have it for less.

You guys are making me go broke.


Ordered stuff from Bissy's and Cleanse Your Soul (tell me their dupe of VBN is good, or I will shoot myself). Now I found out the Body Dessert Shop has CSP dupes.

Could be worse purchases...like pot or pills.
