Jenn, I think we're kind of in a "holding pattern" right now until we find out whether the last elf has received her gift. Smiler

Hi everyone.
My family is on vacation here so I haven't been able to be on much. I probably won't be able to log on much either for the coming days, but I just wanted to let you know that the last elf has not contacted me about having received her package yet, so I don't think it has arrived yet.
Frowner
For those who can't wait to open their gifts, I'd say to go ahead and open it. And if you're willing to wait a little longer that's okay too.hug

Everyone Wave -
First of all, I want to wish everyone a super Happy Holiday and a Very Merry New Year grouphug.
I have not been online much due to being caught under the weather with the sniffles, which I am still recuperating from, and unfortunately leaves me absent from the board more than I would have liked Frowner.

However, I think a few have caught on by now that I am "the last elf" (partially I think, because of the fact that I am the only one who hasn't posted an update on the announcements thread).

To my Secret Santa: Please do not fret hug kiss! I truly appreciate any efforts I am certain you've made in ensuring that I get your package and am honestly thankful for the thought, the care, and the friendship behind the gesture Yes.
Although packages usually get to Israel very quickly (up to 10 days maximum), I am not surprised that it is taking a while to get to me, simply because, not only is it the holiday season there, but it is also the holiday season here. Postal delay is absolutely inevitable. Really!
I am not concerned in the slightest, nor should you be...and I would like to reassure you that it's all fine Smiler. I am certain it will arrive within the next day or two and I will be able to update you personally along with my many thanks Woot hug.

To Absolutely Everyone: Thank you grouphug! Thank you so much for showing such patience, such kindness, such support, such solidarity, and such friendship. Thank you for being such a great bunch of individuals...and more importantly, thank you for being you.
You have no idea how touched I am that you have showed your support in making the effort to wait until I've received my gift before opening your own. I not for one minute expected this of you and of course would have been TOTALLY supportive of your going ahead without me, I am so humbled that you went ahead and waited anyway. The fact that this wasn't expected of you but you waited anyway means more than I can express through words. Thanks so much for being such great friends and of course thank you for making this board another home grouphug.

PLEASE feel free to open your gifts without me Yes. I am not assuming that you won't, but if you haven't yet...please don't feel like you need to wait on my behalf. Enjoy your moment flowers...I'll share mine when it comes Yes.

EDIT: I'll keep everyone here (and of course Fryl via PM) posted on any new updates Yes!!!

Have a wonderful holiday everyone, Happy New Year, and G-d bless you all!!!

Awww Kimmer, you are determined to make me get all emotional! sadsmiley You are such a sweet and generous person and I regret that you haven't received your gift as of yet. Your note to everyone and your SS was very understanding, and I'm sure your SS appreciates that. We wanted to wait for you to receive your gift because we are a family and we support each other. It's what makes this board special and different.

I guess we'll all have to keep in mind next year to send super early if sending overseas just to try and ensure this doesn't happen again.

To my Secret Santa: I am away from home now, but I brought your gift with me and I will open it on Christmas morning with the gifts from my family because I consider you family too! Smiler I may or may not post right away (limited computer access), but I'll post as soon as possible. I can't wait to see what you've been up to! Big Grin

To everyone: The people on this board are truly special, and I'm very happy to have you in my life. I hope that you all have a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year! reindeer

iliveatbbw- Awww hug thanks for the well wishes girly Yes, I AM feeling better and am hopeful that I will continue to recuperate. It seems everyone is under the weather these days Frowner.
You're a sweetheart for offering to wait til' I get my own gift, but you honestly don't need to wait. I wouldn't want you to hold off on enjoying yours simply because there is a delay in the arrival of my own. Do open yours up when you initially planned...and I hope you enjoy your goodies kiss!!! I'll keep you all posted on mine Yes.

Lovey- Awww kiss you're so adorable hug! Thanks so much for all the warm and kind words you have sent my way Yes...I can honestly say I return them to you as well Twinny!!!
I was very touched to hear so many were willing to wait for me and of course although I wasn't expecting such a demonstrative show of solidarity, I was humbled by the friendship exuded in the gesture, which of course makes me feel even more honored to be a part of such a wonderful group of women (and men).

The fact that I'll be getting my package a little later than scheduled doesn't in any way diminish the power behind the gift, the gesture, or the experience. The wait definitely adds to the anticipation, which to be honest, is part of the fun winking. It doesn't matter to me WHEN I get it, just that I've had the chance to experience this with all of you. So thank you hug!!!

Have a wonderful Holiday and an absolutely fabulous New Year!!!

PS: You seriously need to get AIM woman Smiler.

I'd just like to add to the round of 'thanks' being shared and say thank you to iliveatbbw for coming up with a fabulous new tradition for the ladies on this board that has managed to bring us closer together hug. It was a blast and I am so thankful to have been a part of it.
I want to say thanks to Fryl for putting all of this together with seemingly effortless ease, and helping to make it the "smashing success" that it definitely was. Your efforts were very much appreciated hug!
Lastly, I'd like to thank my Secret Santa Lovey, for making it all the more special by sharing her friendship, her consideration, and her limitless generosity with me. I absolutely love everything you've sent me Love! Thank you hun kiss!!!

Ummmm I thought I mentioned in a parallel thread that he hasn't arrived to visit me yet (he is flying in from Connecticut and I am in Israel at the moment) so I don't know what he has to present me with face to face yet Smiler.
