Hmmm. Okay here we go, and 2006 is nearing the end of March.

LeCdeM Orange Blossom - Smells like orange yogurt with e. coli gone bad. Really nasty. For the price, go to L'Occitane and get something that really smells good.

Anything Bigelow - Similarly packaged products are available at WalMart for under $5. Booth's is the name I believe.

Aromatherapy - They all reek. If you want to sleep or relax...take a Tylenol PM or pop a Xanax.

Breathe - Ship this to our boys in Iraq. The Romance crap will flush out Bin Laden.

Goldie - Can we say Barbie makeup at Nordie's prices? Buy your little 'stain' an iPod instead.

Resurrected Shampoos - Aveda and Suave make 'em. You can do better at CVS, WalMart or any discount beauty outlet.

TBS - Lose the self tanning stuff. Try Jergens.
The waxy, overpriced SPF bronzer blows. Even Wet and Wild is better. There a way too many TBS products as it is. Excellent to fill shelves in outlet stores with.

I will have to agree w/ Jeff about Le Couvent Orange Blossom & the True Blue Spa tanning products. It's bad that we have to start a thread like this early on in the yr., but such is life. I have some more additions to the list.

Pear Blossom-Very boring fragrance & the concept of pear has been overdone.

JCB-Everybody loves it for the novelty of its packaging, but the shower gel, bubble bath, & body splash have an ugly yellowy tinge to them. In addition, this is the only BBW splash I've come across strong enough to be a perfume. When referring to the VS splashes, this is a compliment, but JCB lacks the fruity notes found in VS splashes & thus is too strong overall.

Goldie Clean Sheets lip gloss-Clear lip gloss? Where's the fun in that? Roll Eyes

TD Creme Brulee bath syrup-This ties w/ Jaqua Buttercream Frosting shower syrup for looking too much like Butter Rum Life Savers. Sick

Liparazzi-It's a good thing that this stuff is only in flagships. $25 for a lip gloss is way too much. My cutoff pt. for lip gloss is $16.

TD FDC-Sorry, I couldn't resist putting this one here. Chocolate is good. Raspberry is good. However, chocolate raspberry is just nauseating. Sick

Breathe tanning lotion-The fusion of 2 bad ideas.

Breathe At Night-There's already a Lavender Vanilla in Aromatherapy.

WBNY White Cream candle-Sour milk & soap. Sick

CO Bigelow Ultra Mentha Lip Shine-This stuff caused so much of a tingly sensation in my lips that I wondered whether if this product had been confused w/ Lip Venom.

Jaqua Ambrosia Melon-It's just basically a more expensive version of Cucumber Melon.

That's it for the criticism for now.

Le Couvent Orange Blossom. Never have I had such instant dislikke toward a scent.

Breathe Lavender Vanilla. Smells like $2 cold cream.

Fantasia di Cioccolata. I can't believe I still have half a mini souffle of this.

AG Crackling Fragrance spray. Should be called Mildly Foaming spray.

PWP Spring Totebag. Fine if you want a diaper bag, but otherwise nasty.

Love from Becky

Breathe at Night ... smells just like Comfort, but with a little lavender oil. I know some of you like it, but I can't stand it.

Fantasia di Cioccolata ... smells ok in the jar, but reeks on the skin. It joins Coconut Lime Verbena as the only two products I have ever had to actually wash off because they stunk so much. Sick

Breathe self tanners ... oooohhh, this is just awful. The store manager at the store I go to has been using this regularly, and looked like someone had tried to paint her with streaky orange watercolors. Crap

I was going to say LeC Orange Blossom, but for some reason it has started to grow on me. Maybe I just wanted to like it so bad that I am beginning to convince myself to actually like it. Bonk2

Ciao!

I'm gonna say that the new TD scent was less than thrilling (sorry Fryl *ducks and covers*).

Spa Tanners-ick, and I think the Breathe tanners maybe just as icky. Sick

Breathe at Night...well it put me to sleep but not because it was supposed to. Roll Eyes

I hated the Orange Blossom, and is it fair to say that the sale that went over into 2006 was pretty bad? Confused

Lol anan, we are even now Rotflol

I don't know what to nominate the worst product of 2006, it's too early in the year, but it's not TD FdC Big Grin Smiler

I do not carry a tote but do have a backpack filled with 'survival gear.'

Another bad item from BBW. Those tacky totes!
Especially the pink one. Of course if you have a 'Baby Phat' cellie, drive a 'whip, and are on a first name basis with the Korean lady at the wig store...then go for it..with your bad self.

This thread is hilarious! I actually kind of liked Orange Blossom, but I think my nose was a little stuffed when I sniffed it. I agree with Megan - the JCB is a little strong, but the packaging is cute.

Here's my list:
Jonathan products - vegan hippie scum
Orange blossom - I thought it smelled good, but it has a weird burnt smell to it
White Cherry blossom - I know several people like it, but it's too perfume-y and powdery
Breathe 24/7 tanner - the scents smell really off - more so than normal. plus it's just a glorified sparkle lotion
FdC - smells sour...not for me (especially the bath truffles, 12 bucks and they aren't any better than a bath fizzie)
Aquatanica - had promise, but the only thing I like is the smell
Breathe at night - pointless

LOL Edward, the FDC 'Tub Turds'
Origins and The Body Shop had 'em too. Except they look like a bar of ExLax chocolate. Eeker

Am surprised BBW stil has 'em on the shelf in the TD section.

They are the hands down winner of the 'worst' product ever sold.

I guess I'm pretty easygoing when it comes to BBW - I usually end up liking almost everything they sell. Nerd

(Well, there are some notable exceptions, like PUKE Melon.) Sick

I guess my vote for the worst product so far this year goes to the spring tote. No offense to anyone who loves it, but I think it's hideous.

Dirt is sorta just like a pommade. It makes your hair feel kinda greasy - not greasy like yucky greasy, but greasy like hasn't been washed in a few days. It also has a subtle sparkle to it and a nice almond scent to it that stays on your hands after you've put the product in your hair.

It doesn't really look good in my hair, but I have short, straight, asian boy hair so I doubt many of you all will have the same issue. It's definitely not worth the price (I think it's around 20 dollars) but it's not horrible.

This isn't a BBW product, but my choice for worst is Burt's Bees Lifeguard's Choice lip balm. I saw it figured, "Hey, weatherproofing, SPF, etc., what's not to love?" Um, what's not to love is the fact that it makes your lips friggin' WHITE, like you just slathered zinc oxide all over your mouth. Nice smell, nice texture, but for God's sake, after I tried it I went into like 2 other stores wearing this stuff before I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror! Eeker GRRR.

I actually have some updates to this since I last posted on this topic.
CO Bigelow haircare-The Protein Enriching shampoo is puke & the rest of the stuff is quite boring.

Savannah Bee Tupelo Honey & Pecan lip products-These smell like something you'd find in the woods & aren't yummy smelling @ all. Sick

The Perfect Summer home fragrance collection-The decoration scheme for this isn't fun & is really masculine looking. Frowner

Heirloom Bouquet home fragrance collection-The decoration scheme for this looks like it was meant for old ladies.

Reintroduction of Green Tea & Cucumber Essence & Green Clover & Aloe-Can't those things stay @ the warehouse where they belong?
Temptations Tropical Colada-It's a combo of pineapples & coconut. Double Sick.

CO Bigelow Lemon Body Scrub-It looks like dirt. Sick
