Question:
We know that Bath and Body Works tends to get rid of newer, better scents fast! Soo which one of these oldies (but goodies) do you think needs to give up their shelf space to a NEW DBR product?

Choices:
Cucumber Melon
Sun Ripened Raspberry
Juniper Breeze
Mango Mandarin
Sweet Pea

 

Without trying to sound hostile, I personally am sick to death of all of those scents. I mean seriously, they have all been copied by Wal Mart, Jergens, etc & there isnt a soul left on earth that hasnt smelled Puke Melon, Sun Ripened Raspberry or Juniper Breeze. Dont get me wrong, at one time I WAS a fan of those scents but after years & years - I AM OVER THEM!

Be as hostile as you want! It's still a free board! I think the rules only state that we shouldn't be nasty to EACH OTHER...which you are not!

I agree- hostile actually means to delibrately take something out on someone, and Elizabeth-you are NOT hostile!

I say raspberry. I love it, but it's really been overdone. I'm not a huge fan of Cucumber Melon, so that one could go too. The others are awesome, IMHO.

Cucumber Melon for sure.
Every Company as a version of that scent.
Honestly, it makes me GAG.

i voted for puke melon b/c it personally makes me want to hurl everytime i smell it. juniper breeze is still an old stand by for me and i just discovered how awesome mango mandarin is so i wouldn't want to see either of them go away.

I voted Barf melon, too. Honestly, none of those are my favorites, although I can tolerate Raspberry and Juniper breeze. Anyone else beside me notice in their BBW that Raspberry is sitting extremely close to Juniper? Wasn't Juniper slated for retirement soon?

Sadly, the Mango and the Sweet Pea are too popular to be retired. My rule of thumb is, I can't stand anything with Mangoes or Melons in it.

i voted for cucumber melon ... yuck.
i would hate to see sweet pea or mango mandarin go. sweet pea is an old favorite of mine, and i have recently fallen in love with the mango.
actually i am very disappointed that they are phasing out country apple ... that is my ALL TIME FAVORITE scent.

cucumber melon definately needs to go but i agree with janelle, i am so disappointed that country apple is being phased out. i still love that scent.

I say raspberry needs to go. Not only does it not smell good, but everyone always has raspberry scents. It's been done to death.

I almost voted for melon. It's not so much that it's bad, in my opinion, more that it's just kind of boring. I voted for juniper breeze, maybe it just reminds me of gin, I don't know. Certainly the ones going first, or soonest, would be Plumeria, Pearberry, Juniper, Country Apple,Rice Flower and White Tea and Ginger. I am concerned that Coconut Lime and M Orange are now sharing a cabinet in our store. Coconut Lime is my firming lotion scent and orange is my backup for that.

Cucumber Melon has GOT to go! (IMO) I have always disliked that scent. I remember when it first came out and everyone was obsessed with it. I just didn't get into it. The smell of it makes me want to gag. It kind of smells like it went rotten. Can lotion even go "bad" ????

We call it PUKE MELON my friend and i. Because we can't stand the smell.

I'll step out on a limb, but I would have to say sweet pea. I am sensitive to heavy scents; certain ones (florals mostly) give me migraines. I typically stick with the likes of puke melon or other fruity smells. I still haven't gotten over them discontinuing strawberry lemonade!

I can't believe that Sweet Pea used to be my favorite. I was so obsessed with it before that I was narrow-minded when it came to the other scents. Now I regret ever having loved it so much, because it is pretty smelly compared to the other scents.

Sun Ripened Raspberry (even though it's the 1st scent I ever bought from B&BW) or Juniper Breeze

definatly cucumber melon(gross)the others are ok but we need room for some more scents in B&BW.

,,,Mango Mandarin DOES NOT sell in my BBW! It's an ok scent, but here in NY, it seems like noone likes it...
