I Crywould love to take place in this upcoming holiday season's swap. I couldn't participate last year because I was too new of a member. I just hope that my not being able to post will affect my eligibility. Of course, I would understand if I wasn't able to be a part of the whole shebang. It's just hard to post here a lot because I don't have internet access. I hate to be a Wendy Whiner, but that's my two cents worth. hmmm

Megan, I really like the way that list of questions looks! Thumbsup

MissV, you aren't a whiner, you are just asking qustions Smiler Did you swap with many people when you were actively posting and could people currently on the board back it up? what You'd also most likely want to have easily available internet access to check on things. We make several important posts when we do this. We have to "check in" with people as well through private PMs.

Yes, I would have internet access during my lunch break at work. Plus, I usually go to the library a couple times a week and they have free internet access there.

When I was a REALLY active member here last year I did a couple of swaps with people. It's been a while though. I think I did one with Fryl, and Edward. I also swapped a Cinnamon Frosting body wash with someone...I'll have to look back at my posts on that one.

So I will be able to check PMs/posts, just probably not EVERY single day....

Didn't you swap with Megan as well?
Anyway, you have my vote, but like Anan said communication is imperative, and being able to check your PMs too.hug

Miss V, I swapped w/ you back when you were on the boards. I still have that TD Cinnamon Frosting body wash & am saving it for Feb. Yes

I think it would be OK for you to participate. As long as you check in a few times a week, it should go well.

I would love to participate in this! I didn't discover this board until Jan. of this year, so I wasn't around last year.

i think the first thing we should do, is decide
who is eligible, and make a deadline for that.

If you check the poll part of this thread, there's a new poll for shipping deadlines. I went to look at the results tonight & noticed that just 2 people voted. I was hoping to end the poll on Mon., but I'll extend it to Wed. so we can begin signups late this week.

So for those of you who haven't voted, please do so. Yes

Originally, I was thinking that signup could end one month from the date of starting, but thinking on it more, Oct. 1 sounds like a fine time. I think the domestic ship date of Dec. 10 is good, and that international packages should ship by Nov. 30.

I was looking over our poll & I think we have an idea as to deadlines. Yes

Signup deadline: Oct. 1
International shipping deadline: Nov. 30-Dec. 1 (These 2 dates were tied.)
Domestic shipping deadline: Dec. 10

Another thing I got to thinking about was that we haven't technically appointed an organizer. I know Fryl had mentioned she'd be willing to take on that position, but would be open for somebody else to organize as well. I got to thinking about it recently & I would like to play the organizer role this year. So I would like to know from Fryl & others on the board if that's OK.

I think Megan would be an excellent organizer as well! I'll be sure to check the boards more frequently to check on the ship dates, etc. I'm so excited!

I was one of the ones that asked Megan about eligibility, I would love to participate. I realize that I am "newer" and I have only done one swap, and one fraffle. If you guys could let me know your feelings on it that would be great!!!
Thanks Smiler
