I got an e-mail newsletter today & it announced some new stuff. Of most notable importance is that there's now a preview available of the upcoming Goblet Of Goodies (read: Harry Potter) collection. This is a seperate collection from the Halloween stuff & will be launched before Halloween.

The HP scents:
Chocolate Frogs (milk chocolate & green apple)
First Kiss (white cake, red hot cinnamon candy, vanilla icing, whipped cream)
Magic Wand Shop (sweet milk, spiced cake, chai frosting)

She's also included a Chokecherry Lemon Cookie parfait in Special Features. And we now have Lime Cotton Candy on the regular scent list.

Also, there's also $5 flat rate shipping for all US orders now. It's something that could possibly be around on a permanent basis.

So I'm super excited about the new collections for fall. I can't wait to see the HP collection although I'm not the biggest fan of HP. I'm definitely curious to see if there's a scent in honor of Hermione. Lime Cotton Candy is the only thing I want from the new stuff, but I'm sure there'll be more things I'm interested in. I'm trying to be good & not order anything until the Halloween stuff comes up; I've saved up quite a bit of $ to make a big order.

Those Harry Potter scents do sound good. However, I'm not a big Potter fan myself either. But I'll sure try some goodies in honor of HP that sound good.

Surprisingly enough, I didn't find anything that interests me. Choco Cauldron Cakes was sounding close to something I'd like, but then I realized it had caramel in it. Chocolate & caramel is never a good mix for me.

But this means more $ for me for Halloween goodies.

This is actually the first collection that really doesn't blow me away
Well ok I found two scents that I will get which is Licorice Wands (I love Licorice and this will go nicely with the Red Licorice Parfume from Starring that I plan on ordering, plus it's so unique nobody really wears anything Licorice scented )
and The Badgers, I think I'll get a scrub in this scent which I plan on layering with my Lemon Meringue Lotion that I still have and should use up.

Megan,your order sounds good,I like to hear your review on lime cotton candy,vanilla cookie buttercream is one of my favorite scents.

I got an order complete notice for #3886 today. That one was placed on 7/4, so I hope those of you who also placed your orders around that time will be getting your orders soon. I actually wasn't expecting my order completed notice until next week since the last update I read earlier in the week said everything up to #3803 was done.

So, sometime next week, everyone will get to see photos & read reviews.

Freshly Minted body gloss and Fire Cracker Clowns scrub


I received it over a week ago.I used a drop of the body gloss,it smells delicious but I think I like moisturizing with a cream better.The scrub smells yummy,I haven't used it yet.I am disapointed that the middle layer is so thin because that is the sugar me cocounut and I really wanted to try that.I am now waiting for the halloween collection to go up,I am looking forward to that.

Thanks Lovey,it really does smell yummy!I had to pat the top down with a spoon because the scrub pulled away from the sides.I have not had that happen with my other scrubs,I figure it must be the heat in the summertime while it is being delivered.

My regular order that I placed July 3 has already shipped! I was fully expecting it to take 2+ months, so I am very pleased. The FedEx website hasn't updated yet with an estimated delivery date, but hopefully in the next couple of days.

Scent Reviews:
Frosted Lemonade Cupcakes: Smells like pink lemonade.
Honey Beach: It's a warm, baked scent. It kinda reminds me of caramel. And by that, I mean it smells like what I was hoping the IOE caramel scents would smell like.
Iced Margarita: Straight up lime margarita.
Marzipan Goddess: I didn't know this was a layered scrub when I ordered. When I saw the layered scrub, I thought it looked like those Peeps marshmallow things. The almond layer was actually my top layer, the marshmallow was the middle, & the bottom layer was honey. I decided to blend it all up & it had a sweet almond scent to it. It's very nice. It smells like a lighter version of Amour D'Amande.

I had some settling issues with my Honey Beach & Frosted Lemonade Cupcakes scrubs. It was 100 degrees today & considering that my package didn't arrive till 4:30 PM & it had apparently been on the Fed Ex truck since 8 AM, those scrubs were hot by the time they got to me. I had to scrape some of the sugar off the lids to prepare them for their photos.

So I got the email about the new IOE Halloween products. WOW! I can't wait to make an order. This is what I have been waiting for!!!

So many of them sound great. I think I want several from that New Orleans line. It seems very creative a spooky in itself. I think I want French Balls in Storyville, Funeral Parlor Girl, Lucinda's Despair, and Room 21. Scrubs, of course. I have a feeling this could be my biggest IOE order yet

I opened the IOE Halloween e-mail right after I got home from dinner and immediately made a visit to the site. Apparently the first 70 Halloween orders get an extra bonus. I hope I'm one of them, but I'm not sure since I didn't get around to ordering until 2 hrs. after the initial announcement was made. I made order #4367 & it wasn't as big as I expected.

Anan, I was a little interested in Lucinda's Despair too. But I'm waiting on my pending order to see if I like IOE's rose scents first. The White Hearse cauldron also sounds interesting, but that too depends on how I like IOE's rose scents. I hope that Alexa adds more options to her regular scent list during the fall. I find that I like those scents more than I like the collection scents.

All of them smell really good. I got 1 in sugar and 2 in salt, I already knew I liked the sugar scubs from my swap with Megan I am a little bummed about the salt scrubs though, I dont know if anyone has tried those or not but the salt is actually big chunks the salt looks like little rocks and its really hard and rough. Oh well now I know. I have been waiting for my order to see which ones I liked better so I could try some Halloween scents that sound really good. I will definitely make sure they are sugar

hi all i had a couple of questions before i order from IOE on the products it has a price then another beside it whats that? also if i order some scrubs and lotions is the shipping still $5- dollars? cool thanks for all the help anita

NV Mom, I think the thing w/ the pricing that you're referring to is the drop down menus for the collection scents. They list those as $13.94, but those are for the scrubs only. The other various products cost various prices, so they list the difference right next to that. I guess that's something they have to do for their programming to get the correct price added to the cart.

And yes, shipping is still $5.

Cherry Clown Kisses: This one was blended. Smells mostly like cotton candy; the cherry is a light note.
Deep Fried Twinkie: Smelled like buttery caramelized vanilla.

I also got some extra turbinado scrubs in CSCWEM & Deep Fried Pineapple A La Mode. CSCWEM smelled like funnel cake & candy apple. It actually wasn't too bad, considering I don't like much apple scents. Deep Fried Pineapple A La Mode had a faint pineapple scent to it.

Candied Rose Buttercream: I like it. The rose smell is sweet, but not too overpowering.
Candied Violet Petals: Straight up violet perfume scent.
Lime Cotton Candy: Smells like lime Life Savers. As you can see, whoever was the color artist on mine looked like they were having fun.
Lime So Wasted: The melon note was sharp at first, but it blended in after awhile & smells like a fizzy lime.
Vanilla Cookie Buttercream: Smells like VBN. This is going to the swap list next time I update it.
