I'm not sure if anyone has given any feedback for Sue at Mad City Soaps, and ETSY retailer.

Her product offerings are scaled back for the summer months, but her scent list is impressive without being overwhelming.

My favorite product from her right now is her Soy Body Butters. They have the most AMAZING texture, light, spongy, and airy, but the sink right in and the scent lingers on forever. My fave scent right now is her Pink Frosted Cupcakes!

She has any amazingliy fast TAT, wonderfully thoughtful samples, and resonable prices. I can't wait for her scrubs to return at the end of the summer! Check her out at ETSY!

I ordered from her once too.
I got 2 scrubs which are already gone now, they were super moisturizing and I didn't even have to use Lotion after scrubbing. The scents were very good too (I had Cotton Candy Carnival and Frosted Pink Cupcakes)
I also have a Soy Souffle Body Butter in Marshmallow Peeps, I love this scent so much I try not to use it to much because she doesn't offer this scent anymore.
The Butters are great they have this really cool spongey texture and for me the scent lasts all day!

I'll definitely order from her again!
Has anybody tried her Marshmallow Madness scent??
I'm a Marshmallow addict Crazy

I ordered a Shower parfait last week in lemon merengue, and sue added a little bath pouf to my order, also. She's great w/ the samples, also!

I ordered an Almond Coconut Scrub just before she took them off her site for the summer, and it was amazing! Super scrubby, but moisturizing enough that I didn't need any lotion...........the scent was DELICIOUS!

Now that first lady mentioned the Marshmallow Madness, I think I'm going to have to get this in my next order...........I hope to get my Satin Spritz in Pink Frosted Cupcakes this week!

I am happy to say that I made my first MCS purchase. I'm getting a Frosted Pink Cupcakes soap. I hope everything goes well. crossfingers

I'm contemplating trying the shower parfait in the future. How's the texture? I'm hoping it's not too oily. Also, how does it work for shaving purposes?

Megan, you're going to LOVE the Frosted Pink Cupcake scent!! It's my favorite MCS scent and in my top 3 of all time favorites! Love

The shower parfaits I tried were soft and fluffy. I didn't find them oily at all, I don't even think they have oils in them (well except the FO of course). The lather was ok, not as much as the rock hard bathcreams from IoE but I could still get a nice lather (I used it on my poof).
I didn't try them as shaving cream though, I think they might be a little to soft and runny for that. But it works well as a body wash. Hope that helped Smiler

I got my first MCS order today & unfortunately my reviews of the scents are less than favorable. Crap

I got a Frosted Pink Cupcakes soap & it smells faintly like strawberries on the pink part of the soap. But the white part of the soap really doesn't smell like much. However, I do plan to test it out in the bath to see what the texture is like. It's possible that this scent just wasn't strong enough for me.

She also included a body butter sample in Purple Rain. The scent was nice, but it's not for me as it reminded me of a unisex cologne.

Even though I wasn't as enthused by my 1st order as I thought I'd be, I still issued positive feedback since the TAT & CS were good. I will consider making a 2nd order to see what the shower parfait is like & will consider ordering in scents that I might end up liking more (i.e. cherry or lemon scents). Yes

Nbgs, thanks for the review on the shower parfait. I'm a little bit more curious about it after reading your review. I think the IOE bath cream was nice, but it's texture is a little bit too much like butter.

I got my MCS order in the mail today. I got 4 oz. shower parfaits in Key Lime Pie & Luscious Lemon Poundcake. I also got a body butter sample in Key Lime Pie. (I'm keeping this one. winking)

Both scents smell true their names & are citrusy pastry goodness. Love I'll be looking forward to using these in the bath soon.

I got an order yesterday. Big Grin

Lemon Custard: Creamy lemon scent. Very nice. Yes
Lime Margarita: Smells true to its name. Love

I also got a sample scrub in Clementine Lavender. It's a really orangey scent. It's not bad, but it's not my type.

MCS is putting up its fall scents. Some of the featured scents on the main page are Candy Corn, Oh My Cherry Pie, & Choc-O-Lantern. I've heard there will be quite a bit of pumpkin blends too.

Anyway, I placed a recent order & thought it would be appropriate to review it.

Cherry Divinity: This is a nice cherry scent. But it's a little bit lighter than I would've liked.

Iced Lemon Biscotti: This is one of the new fall scents. It's really good! Love It reminds me of Lemon Pastry Girl Scout cookies.

Megan - how do you like the shower parfaits from here? Are they a lot like the IoE bath creams? I did notice that they were cheaper.

MCS shower parfaits are basically the same as IOE bath creams. However, the IOE bath creams are a little bit "chunky" once applied. I prefer the MCS ones more, but they get used up faster due to it having a creamier texture.

Thanks for the info, Megan. If the Mad City ones are even softer and fluffier than the IoE ones, I probably won't be getting them.

I just placed my first Mad City Soaps order.
I've been kind of unhappy with IoE lately (2 month TAT on my last order, bath creams with chunks and gritty particles in them...) so I'm looking to give another Etailer a try. The TAT at Mad City Soaps is supposed to be only about 1 week, and the prices are considerably lower than IoE. The scent list is not as extensive, but they do have a good variety. So I have high hopes for this one.

I ordered a shower parfait in Almond Coconut and a body butter in Lily of the Valley. I'll let you all know how it turns out!

So my first Mad City Soaps order was a big success. I can't believe how fast the TAT is here! My order was completed in 3 days and shipped immediately, so I got it within a week of ordering. I'll definitely be shopping here again!

Her scent list is not as extensive as IoE but a lot of scent notes are represented so I should be pretty happy ordering from there for a while. The MCS product quality and prices are hard to beat from what I can see. The shower parfait was creamy and luxurious, and no lumps or scratchy stuff in there at all! I love the Almond Coconut scent, it smells true to the description but I'd say it's more complex and "sophisticated" than most coconut scents I've tried. Lily of the Valley is a very true to life scent and the texture of the body butter is just awesome.
