I got my first CYS haul today and I'm loving it. Took me a few minutes to figure out what to try first. Everything smelled so good!

Here's what I got:
Moisturizing Body Spray in the following scents:
-Pink Lemonade, smells just like that and will be wonderful for summer.
-Window of the Soul. Can't quite place this one yet. The scent description is Dark Vanilla blended with coconut milk and Sandalwood. Doesn't smell bad, but I can't figure it out yet. Smells like it needs another scent to lighten it up a bit. I'll wait until a day I try it on my body and see how it does.
-Brown Sugar Pie Crust.- Definitely one of those relaxing on the couch after workouts type scent. Its adorable!
-Pink Sugar- smells just like the real thing to me
-Mediterranean Fig. Smells good, definitely like something I would wear when I'm in my Bohemian Jesus Sandal moods, LOL.

Perfume:
Eternal Hope- I'm truly loving this, its what I'm wearing now!
Let Me Count the Ways- Smells so good! I'll be wearing this tomorrow, I'll let you know how it does on me. I think this one may be my favorite.

Roll On: Vanilla Bean Noel. This will definitely become a staple. I love my BBW VBN products because they blend well with other scents. This one is definitely one I can blend with other scents.

I got a cream oil lotion in Strawberry Marshmallow, but my friend stole it so can't really review how it'll do on me. It did smell delicious though in the two seconds I got before she snatched it, LOL.

Judy sent two samples, two mini soaps in Restless Heart & Somali Rose. I haven't opened them yet.

All in all was defintely a good purchase. There's nothing I'm hating, so far on first sniff everything is a keeper, and the TAT was good too. I don't even know that its been a full two weeks, maybe it has, but either way I'm satisfied. She had excellent customer service too!

I ordered a bunch of perfume roll-ons in December, and it didn't take too long to get them.
I am a little dissapointed though, some of the scents are nice, but all of the scents have a strange tartness to them.

I did place it in December but the package got lost and Judy was very nice and resent it.
Here's what I got:

+Blackberry Brulee Sugar Scrub: This is very nice I haven't tried it yet but the scent is delicious my Mom likes it too I guess I'll have to reorder it

+Pink Pineapple Sugar Body Cream and Body Spray: This is my favorite, first it smells more like Pineapple but the drydown is very sweet. It's the perfect mix of the two scents.

+Creamsicle Cotton Candy Body Cream and Body Spray: It smells more Orange then Cotton Candy not that sweet it's a great spring/summer scent reminds me of those Orange Pops I use to eat as a kid. I will have to try this again when my nose isn't overloaded with scents maybe I will get more Cotton Candy out of it then.

+Lemon Cupcake Body Cream and Body Spray: This was a special request from me and it turned out very nice. More Lemon then Cupcake but a nice sweet lemon I like this one alot. I only ordered the Body Cream but Judy sent me a Spray too which was very nice of her I will be using this tomorrow

+Toasted Marshmallow Body Spray: To me its doesn't smell "toasted" but it's a very nice sweet Marshmallow smell, very true and not artifical at all. This is a scent that mix well with others too I tried it with my Blueberry Muffin Lotion and it's very yummy

Overall I'm very pleased with my order and Customer Service is great (like I said, my package got lost and Judy resent it without me even asking for it)
I will repurchase from her again and again, all of her scents smell very true to the description and are not artifical at all!!!

Btw Nubiancooki, how funny that your friend stole your Lotion, I think my mom will do that with my scrub too

Yes it is, I couldnt resist and tried it yesterday, I really like how it foamed up and lathered nice but one thing I didn't like that much is it was kind of hard to squeeze it out (I have the malibu tube).
But it smells better when actually using it, to me it smells like candy
I will order a cream and spray in this scent!

3tarts in sweet orange & chile pepper this is a good scent i once got some of this in a sample scrub

roll on in rasberry cotton candy nice sweet scent to it love it!

sample size lotion in veil of grace nice creamy smell to it love it! i really like her vbn scents they are good!

I just thought I'd let everyone know that Judy has some special edition colored scrubs available on the website right now, but she only has a certain amount. They're huge -- 16 ounces!

hi all! i got my order in from cys today i got 4 roll ons

1 in pistachio this is really good!
1 in sweet orange & chile pepper man this is good! i'm gonna order some more stuff in this!

1 in pistachio marshmallow this is a nice scent too will good to layer with!
1 in yellow cake all i can say is yummy!

all of the roll ons are a pretty blue color with a blue lid very cute! i also got a sample of rainbow sherbet-bath moisture whip

I'm glad she has changed the packaging design. I thought the white and pink labels were bland.

I purchased some lotions from Judy back around Christmas 2006. All of mine went bad- the lotion base looked disgusting, and actually the lotion base started to grow mold. I'm very disappointed with the fact on how the lotions went bad so quickly- within 2 months time. [I make my own lotions also and have some that I made in November 2006- they still look like they were freshly made.] Also when I received the lotions from Judy at the end on December 2006 the lotions base looked clumpy, and not mixed well at all!

I do rememeber that I did place my order at the beginning of December 2006 and I did email Judy about a week after and she told me she had many orders and my order would go out soon. Maybe she forgot to put something in my lotions to preserve them. Well, either way I wasted my money and I will not buy from her again.

Oh and I forgot to say that I personally didn't like her packaging. I really thought it was ugly! I'm not usually this blunt, but the squeeze bottle and the silver cap didn't appeal to me at all!

Wow, I'm so sad to hear about your horrible experience with CYS! I bought several lotions from her and all are gone but one, but that one still looks fine. Maybe she did forget to put preserves in yours for some reason?

Just remember that being an e-tailer fan is a risky business. Since we can't sniff before buying, we sometimes end up buying terrible products or weird scents. Good luck with your future e-tailer purchases!

Wow, so sorry to hear that HOTFF

I did purchase from her in Jan. too, and my Lotions are still fine. The only problem I have with one of my Splashes is that it seems like the fragrance oil seperates from the base, so I just have to shake it before using it, but it still smells fine though.

Nbgs, I notice that with some other e-tailers too for some reason. LemonBay's sprays also do that (but their sprays last as long as perfume ). I wonder why this happens? Maybe there is some kind of chemical in BBW's and VS's that e-tailers leave out?

There are two possible reasons that I know of as to why the oil would separate from the base. First, not enough of an ingredient (I use in my lotions emulsifying wax) to "bind" the oil and water together. Second, in the final step when making my lotions I mix my oil based ingredients and my water based ingredients with a stick blender (must be mixed for several minutes). If not mixed the allotted amount of time then the oil based ingredients will separate from the water based ingredients.

I've had lotions that have separated before too. hat happened really bad with a lotion from LemonBay before they were reformulated, and the oil irritated my skin. She gladly replaced it for free when she heard that that had happened. Their lotion is so much nicer now with the new formula.

Are you talking about the new packaging? I got my order in today, and I HATE and I do mean HATE the new jars that the Behemoth scrubs come in. They are the same jars that the scrubs from CH come in and they are so damn hard to get the product out of. PERSONALLY, I don't mind the simple, plain jars she had this scrub in before. I also don't think that these jars are any stronger than the others and if I receive another scrub that ends up cracked and the oil leaks out and I am out 10.50 I am going to lose it. I hate contacting her or any other etailer when this happens, but I don't like spending my money on a product and it arriving in poor condition.

I will give her this, at least she is putting tape around the tops of the scrub jars now. Maybe that will also help with the leaks.

I also have to agree that the lotions you received in December must have not had the preservatives in it. I have emollients and lotions from months prior to that and they are all still just fine.

Also, regarding the separation of the sprays, I think there is one of her sprays that is suppose to be like that to begin with. I can't remember which one (I am honestly amazed at the moment I can put two sentences together my head hurts so bad), but there is one that you have to shake first before you spray. That is normal for that one. As for the others, I couldn't tell you.
