I've recently become addicted to Burt's Bees products. It started with the lip balm that I bought at BBW and it branched off from there. On the website, there is a factory outlet, so I bought some stuff there at a discount. One of the things I got was a huge sample kit, and it came with all sorts of great stuff, including FIVE lip shimmers, and full sized Banana and Beeswax hand creme (great as a face moisturizer if you have dry skin), and a full sized Tomato cologne (sounds weird, smells great). Does anyone else here use Burt's?

Me ME ME! LOL I adore BB's Marshmallow vanishing cream! Smells like bananas yet "lighter" it is divine! I also like the lemon cuticle creme and coconut foot creme.

I just used the Orange face cleanser from this brand, and I love it! It smells great, and feels like I'm washing my face with melted jelly beans. That sounds strange, I know, but it's the first thought I had when I used it. It's a gel cleanser and it feels like it might moisturize, but I know that it leaves skin loads smoother and softer.

My face is going through withdrawl of my precious Burt's Beeswax & Banana hand creme. I've been trying to make the PS Milk Thistle face cream work, but it's just not very moisturising. I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and stick with Burt's. It really is a great brand, so I guess the price is justified.

Becky, I agree with you on the Milk Thistle face cream. It's supposed to be for dry skin but it's not very moisturizing. I love the PS line, but I think the facial skin care products specifically the moisturizers and face washes are AWFUL! I LOVE the scrubs and the masks, although I question if the masks are that great either, but I will be buying neither the Rice stuff nor the Milk Thistle again.
I now realize that your using the hand creme for your face, what does it do for you exactly? Thanks!
Especially when I get out of the shower, my face would get red and blotchy. If I used the B&B creme right after I got out, I completely avoided the red problem, and it kept my face clear and hydrated. I got so many complements, too. During Christmas working at BBW, a customer comes up to me and asks what I used for my face, because they wanted to buy it. I told them the truth and sent them to Hallmark to buy the Burt's starter kit.

Does your face get all red and blotchy from taking a too hot shower? Maybe I should try the BB hand creme too. I love the way it smells and I don't have anything that's banana scented, except for a Sommer & Asquith Banana and Coconut handlotion, which hardly even moisturizes my hands. I'll check it out next time I'm at Walgreens. Meanwhile maybe I can use the Savannah Bee handcreme for now
My face gets red and blotchy pretty much whenever it pleases. But yeah, the temperature has a lot to do with it. The only time my face doesn't red up is when I take a cold to lukewarm shower, which only happens in the summer. Be forewarned, the B&B creme is really thick and may make your face greasy if you don't have dry skin.

I saw in the Walgreens ad that some BB stuff is on sale. I don't know what the regular prices are, but their advertised for 3.50 to 12.99 The products are: • Mini Lotion Kit • Foot Care Kit • Head to Toe Starter Kit • Lip Shimmers
I have more raving to do for this brand! My face has been a little less receptive to the Beeswax and Banana creme lately, so since I was nearly out, I thought I'd try one of their face creams. I decided on the Radiance Day Cream, which is 99.02% natural (just barely less than the 100% Banana) and is made with royal jelly.
I've used it a few times between yesterday and today, and so far I love it! Yesterday my entire forehead was red, blotchy, and peeling dry skin (gross, no?), and today it's not peeling at all, and the blotchiness has gone down about 80%. It says on the box that it's good for lines and wrinkles as well, which was another factor in me getting this.
It is not greasy at all, and glides on and absorbs into the skin quickly with a nondescript sweet scent. The real test will be me using it for a week or two and seeing the condition of my face.
It's a little expensive, $15 for 2oz, but so far it seems worth the price. My only wish is that it had some SPF protection.
