Does anyone have any face moisturizers they love? I've been using Clean and Clear for years now because it says it won't clog pores, but sometimes I have to re-apply the lotion to my face because it is not moisturizing enough. I'd rather not put oil onto my face, but I want something that is moisturzing enough. I like to use face lotion after a warm shower because my face becomes dry from the shower. I usually use it mostly on my forehead and chin, but also sometimes the sides of my nose and cheeks.

Any suggestions on a good face moisturizer that won't put oil on my face and cause breakouts?

Meg, the only one I have used is Philosophy Hope In A Jar. I dont use it that often, alot more in the winter though. I have sensitive skin and have never broke out from this. A SA at Sephora, a couple years ago told me this is their best selling moisturizer. It is oil-free as well. Smiler

I've been using the Le Couvent des Minimes Honey & Shea night cream in the wintertime. It's very nourishing and great for my combination skin. It's very thick, but I don't feel it's oily. It keeps my skin really soft. I also use Shiseido the Skincare Night Essential Moisturizer. I've been using it for years, but feel that it might be time to move on to something else.Smiler

I may have to try Philosophy Hope in a Jar next. I've heard good things about it, so thanks for suggesing it, Gizmo.Smiler

Has anyone ever tried Clinique's face lotion or gel? I'm curious about it, but at $23 a bottle, I'd rather not try it and end up not liking it! Razzer

Thank goodness for this board of great people who give good advice! Big Grin

Run far far away from DDML. Escape That stuff= not so pretty breakouts.

The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is what I'm currently using. I've had my bottle since early May & I'm still not finished w/ it yet. It's worked OK for me so far.

Speaking of Clinique moisturizers, I remember that a Clinique SA on MUA posted that they'll be reformulating the Moisture Surge moisturizer soon. I haven't tried that one though.

Thanks for the warning, Megan! Maybe I'll try the gel at some point and hopefully get one of those cute cosmetic cases for free! Smiler

I agree with Megan on the lotion. Yes For me it was horrible. I will be honest after the bad experience with the lotion, I have been too afraid to even try the gel formula.

I personally Neverwear lotion on my face Nono It causes my face to get red. But i do enjoy using face mask and face cleansers. I like either making the face mask myself by using natural ingredients such as papayas, yougurts, and oatmeal and it works wonderfully claps2 Although you should only use recipies that have been known to work well. As for face clensers i either use a special face wipe or a specific face wash for when i take a shower.

I was wondering if anyone has tried the Proactive skin care regimen. Is it worth the hype? Thanks.

Mardi, my daughter uses Proactiv and it seems to work well for her. Yes

I have used Avon moisturizers for many years now. I currently use the Ultimate line day and night cream. Sometimes I use the RareMinerals at night instead. I like the RareMinerals because it gives you a hint of color on your face but it doesn't come off on the pillowcase.
