Gels usually don't work for me at all, but lately I have been using Secret Platinum Clear Gel in Vanilla Sparkle. Not only does it do a marvelous job, but it also smells awesome.

I have found *the* deodorant for me!! Banana
It's the Suave roll-on in Baby Powder. It's dirt cheap too! Thumbsup
I got it at when I was on vacation in Florida for only $1.97.
I had forgotten my deodorant at home so I needed to get a new one.
I am so happy with it, it works really really well.

Fryl, you were on vacation in Florida? Where did you visit?

Oh, and congrats on finding just the right deoderant! It's a life-long search sometimes!

Fryl, I'm glad you had a good time on your vacation. Florida really grows on you. I grew up in St. Louis, where there are all four seasons, but after a few years in Florida I don't think I really want to go back to snowy winters. Maybe just to visit. Wink

I swear by the Soft and Dri stuff. It works wonders on me. Eeker

Janelle, MO has had one snow/ice storm back at the end of November. Otherwise it's been super mellow this winter.

Thanks, Janelle! I really like Florida, the weather was awesome. I can't complain about Michigan though. Winter this year has been very mild so far.
The only complaint I have about the part of Florida I visited was that everyone there assumes that you speak Spanish. I took 2 years of Spanish so I know the basics, but it's a little annoying when some people in retail speak no English at all. How did they get hired?
Confused

Fryl,

I will have to sniff this one. Wink

I bought about 10 or more Secret Vanilla deodorants when they were on sale, Bonk so I probably need another deodorant, don't I? Wink kickass

But, if it's only $1.97, it's worth a try. Big Grin

Noelle, you definitely have to try the Suave roll-on if you like the scent of baby powder.
It works really well too, I don't perspire a lot, but I get stinky sometimes. Red Face
Well, not anymore!Big Grin

I know it's hard to believe, but I don't sweat really. Eeker Not that I am lazy or anything to not break a sweat, Wink but even when I do any sports, I really don't need deodorant. I wear it for "smell good" purposes only. Razzer

As I was getting dressed this morning, I discovered that I was out of deodorant. So I scrape on what I can and go to WalMart.

I usually buy Secret Platinum Protection soft solid in the Ambition scent. Well, they were out of it. Banghead After about five minutes of staring at my other choices, I ended up getting Secret Platinum Protection clear gel in Peach Shimmer. I like the scent, but am not too fond of the gels...the real test will come tomorrow when I open it. I hope it doesn't actually have shimmer...the last thing I need is sparkly underarms.

So, I'm not sure if I'm too crazy about this deodorant yet. The scent is very intense, which is nice but also kind of weirds me out. I don't want other people to be able to smell my deodorant, no matter how peachy-fresh it may be.

I also wasn't fond of the way the gel felt when applying it, but I can deal with that.

All in all, it works, b/c I'm not sweating - I just wish the scent was a little more toned down.

I've found that all-natural deodorant doesn't work as well on me as standard drugstore stuff. I usually use Secret, Dove, or Suave, but decided to be different and get some from lemonbaysoap.com. It smells very nice for a while, but I'm able to detect some stank after coming home from work. Usually, the deodorant scent is still going strong. I guess I should just stick with drugstore stuff.

I really don't need any more deodorants since I have about 10 Secret vanilla sparkle deodorants that I need to get through. Bonk But I looked for the suave roll-on today and didn't see any.

I sniffed a Teen Spirit Cool Coconut and had to buy that one though. Yes It has a real coconut scent and if you get a chance, check it out. Clap

I bought a Secret Platinum Vanilla Chai anti-perspirant today and I really like the scent. Love I smell a hint of chocolate in it. idunno

There is also a new rose scent I think, but I didn't sniff that one, since I don't really care for florals.

Are there any other new secret scents out there that I might have missed?

Noelle, I like the smell of that Vanilla Chai as well. When I saw it, there were four different scents (I think they were called Scent Expressions or something like that). I can't remember what they were though. idunno
