So... I'd like perfect skin (wouldn't we all) and am looking for suggestions for some of my issues. The major one is uneven skin tone on the face - I think this resulted from having had acne as a teen and having to use so many corrective products for this issue. Also, I tend to get puffy spots about half an inch below my eye, and sometimes have problems with the undereye area, as in dark circles and very fine lines showing. Anybody have any suggestions for ways to correct these problems? Any good products out there - or for the skin tone issue has anyone had experience with dermatological treatments or chemical peels? Thanks!

Anemone, try exfoliating. Anything with glycolic acid helps, I use Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher before and it's marvelous. I need to get some more soon, come to think of it.
I also use Alpha Hydrox souffle, which has done wonders for my skin. It feels smooth and even instantly.

For getting rid of puffiness & dark circles under the eyes, the best product I've come across is Clinique All About Eyes. I've actually mostly been using the CO Bigelow Hand Treatment as an eye cream b/c the lemon has skin brightening effects. That tends to work OK, but if you need something that'll do miracles, Clinique All About Eyes is the way to go. I used a sample of it that I got in a bonus earlier this summer & I noticed a major difference. wow I don't really need an intensive eye cream now, but I definitely will be getting this when I turn 30.

The product to avoid for undereye use is CO Bigelow Lemon Body Cream. I got a sample of this w/ a BBW purchase & I thought since it had the lemon skin brightening effects, it'd work the same as the hand treatment. Wrong! It reacted w/ the sunlight, making the area under my eyes break out & have sunburn. Mad

For under eye 'issues' I recommend MAC Fast Response Eye Cream. It's affordable and works.
Contains potassium and caffeine, both of 'em work on puffiness and dark circles.

For uneven skin tone, The Body Shop Moisture White line is good. Also try the Alpha Hyrox in the 'red box' which Fryl introduced us to. It's available at Walgreen's. Just use a moisturizer and sunscreen. Alpha Hydrox has those available also at reasonable prices.

I have also had excellent results with Jafra Royal Jelly milk balm (costs $65 but you can get it on eBay for about $20 BIN), and Burt's Bee's eye cream with royal jelly.

You might even try placing a slice of raw potato under the eye area. Sounds weird but works on dark circles and puffiness.

These are all great products.Smiler

Hey anemone, I'm not sure if you've found something that works for you yet but if your interested, I went on OlayForYou.com and when you visit the site an online consultant will give you a personal skin care consultation. I told them which problems I had with my skin and they recommended different products based on what fit my needs. Hope this helps for you! Smiler

Anemone, I highly recommend you check with your Avon representative as well. You can go online and read the reviews for each product as well as take a quiz which will recommend products for your particular concerns. I personally recommend you try Advanced Eye Perfector (My customers swear by it and it's on sale this campaign for $5). I would also recommend the Anew Clinical line, particularly Advanced Retexturizing Peel. It improves your skin's texture, tone, and clarity. You get 30 unscented pads and they are on sale for $14.99 (regularly $25). You might also like Precision Line-filling Injections also from Anew Clinical.

There are also other products that are a part of Avon Solutions that will do the trick. It just takes a bit of research and trial and error to get it right. The great thing about Avon is that if the product doesn't work for you, they offer a 100% money back guarantee or you can exchange it and try something different. What works for one may not work for another. Basically, a good skin regimen should treat the concerns you have for your skin, and if you can't get in touch with your representative, I'd be happy to discuss this is more detail with you. Please feel free to PM me with any additional questions. Smiler

There are lots of choices out there and I wish you luck with whatever you decide to try!!
