I'm hoping at least one of you out there who's been pregnant at some time or another can help me!!! I'm starting to get stretch marks pretty bad right under my belly button and they ITCH like Curse CRAZY!!! I can't stop itching!!!! Is there any type of skin care product I can use that won't harm me or baby? I tried the Lay it on Thick spa stuff (BF recommended it because he thought it might be from dry skin there) but it doesn't help at all and the smell is now making me nausceous. I'm afraid at the rate I'm going, I'm going to scratch the baby out of me.

when my friend was pregnant she used the "nut" body butter from the body shop and she said it works. the body shop also claims the nut body butter is good for preventing stretch marks during pregnancy. but then again individual results will vary, but it could be worth a try Smiler

The manager at the BBW I worked at always recommended shea products to pregnant women. I don't know why though!!!

Good luck, and when is your baby due!? Smiler

I've been told shea butter/cocoa butter too. That's why I tried Lay it on Thick, which is a smell I used to love, but lately here it's been making me quite ill. I'm due on December 19th...still over 30 days to go Cry

OH.....
B&BW made a Shea Butter from the Spa Line when I was prego. It worked GREAT. DANG, I can't remember what it was called. It was in a Tube Bottle that was a Blue/Green Color. Maybe someone can think of it.
