Fryl, which PS set did you get? The Milk Thistle is for dry. Others are for combo or oil control. Banghead

Ah, okay. You should've gotten the Milk Thistle one originally. Everyone is concerned about being oily or shiny until...they hit 30. Love
Clue phone, combo or oily skin is not as prone to wrinkling. Headbob
Don't you know Barbie suffocated from too much Cover Girl oil control makeup? Errr

I got some Biore Ice Cleanser today, because now I have two pimples on my chin that don't want to leave. The cleanser is really nice, it cools the skin (hence the name). Guess my Burt's banana cream has to stay off of my chin now.

Love from Becky

I thought I'd post my skin routine.

In the AM. I use milk thistle face wash or purity made simple and milk thistle spf 15 or hope in a jar moisturizer. I sometimes use 24 hr kinetin from TBS.

In the PM I use philosophy purity made simple or neutrogena foaming cleanser. These actually get my makeup off. Milk Thistle face wash doesn't for me. Last but not least I ALWAYS use everlasting flower night nourisher. I LOVE this. It smells exactly like swiffer wet jet cleaner though (the original wet jet scent) it smells awesome though.

Once a week I use ps almond face scrub and ps neem mask.

I use Origins Checks and Balances face wash everyday...it's the only cleanser that doesn't drt my skin out and doesn't actually cause breakouts.
A couple of times a week I use Origins Modern Friction microdermabrasion....it makes my skin so soft...then I follow it with Origins White Tea Face Cream.
When I need a little extra moisture, I use Aromatic Balm by LeCleur....love it

Checks and Balances is an excellent product for ppl with young combo skin. Perfect World White Tea Skin Guardian, another good item.
Modern Friction made me look like a lobster. The Clinique Turnaround 15 Minute Facial was far less irritating.
Was liking the new Clinique liquid face soap mild, but found it to be very stripping. There is a detergent in it.
Eeker
Will have to go thru my bags of samples to find something that works.
You guys are lucky you don't have to shave! I have to twice a day and it's murder.

I'm now using Clinque Clarifying Lotion 1. I took the skin test & it told me it was a Type 2, but the Clarifying Lotion 2 was too strong for my skin. Mad I used the Clarifying Lotion 1 tonight & could definitely tell a difference; it was so much more gentle on my skin. Smiler I also had been using the larger size b/c I was using it everyday, but now I'm buying the smaller size & using it every couple of days. I got 2 samples of the new mild facial soap & may try that out, but I don't expect that to permanently replace my Foaming Mousse Cleanser.

Clinique also makes a Mild Clarifying Lotion for sensitive skin. Don't know if any of you guys have used it as it is not 'promoted' There is also Clinique CX for individuals who have had 'work' done on their faces such as dermabrasion or certain surgical procedures. I believe those products are on the website.
Have recently incorporated The Body Shop Tea Tree mask into my after work routine. Don't recommend it unless you work in health care, around domestic/farm animals or ride subways on a regular basis. With people getting zapped stepping on metal plates in NYC and the way the federal government lies...I ain't taking any chances of contracting bird flu. Yikes!

In the morning I rinse with water and then apply Shiseido spf 55 face cream. If my face is dry then I'll put a bit of the BBW White Tea Serum under the Shiseido.

At night I've been using the Babor Hy-ol and Phytoactive cleanser system. I really like it, but it's quite expensive, so I don't know if I'll repurchase it. Then I apply the 5 Essentials face cream & eye cream from Signature Club A. I alternate this routine with the Wexler starter kit routine, and I also have various other skincare items that I throw into the rotation from time-to-time. Smiler

Like the L'Oreal commercial says.."You're worth it."
Expensive is relative. If the product REALLY works, use it! Just don't believe the hype and always return an item that does nothing.
Christian Dior spray on anti cellulite crap is hype...just ask the SA to step out from behind the counter for proof.
And LaMer will not enable one to get up from their wheelchair and walk.

I've tried the Clinique mild liquid facial soap for a couple of nights now & I just don't like it. It doesn't give me that same "refreshed" feeling like the Foaming Mousse Cleanser does. I don't think my skin likes it so much either. So it's getting tossed.

Megan,
Donn't toss it. Return it. Unless it was a sample. Fish

It was a sample. It's been taking me a couple of days to make up my mind on tossing it out & I have no idea why. But it's going for good now.

every day now I use Beauti Control Skinlogics gold cleanser, toner and moisturizer, and then one a week I use the microderm abrasion and what a DIFFERENCE in my face! My face always had little bumps on it and the microderm took it all off, it's so smooth now. Love

I have been using the Alpha Hydrox souffle every morning for the past week and it's made my skin really smooth! The first day I used it I noticed great improved instantly. My skin had got really dry from using PS stuff, including Milk Thistle, but the souffle has taken care of that!
I wish I would have started using this sooner. I wouldn't recommend it for people with sensitive skin though or if you're exposed to the sun a lot. But I have had no problems whatsoever. When purchased at the Walgreens' cosmetics counter you get $3 off.
