Fryl, I'm looking forward to the next season of L&O CI too. I was really excited when I saw the commercial announcing Jeff Goldblum. I think his quirkiness will fit the cast quite well.

Has anyone seen "Raising the Bar"? I watched the premiere and it was pretty good. I'm thinking it will get even better since the first episode always has to spend so much time setting up the characters.

I also watched Prison Break. I never could get into this show but I thought the first episode was very good. I might give it another chance!

Since there have been quite a few previews in the past couple of wks., I thought it would be fair to share my reviews.

90210: Kinda boring. But it's on during my exercise time & there's nothing else to watch on TV, so I end up watching it. Some of the actresses are scarily skinny.

Privileged: This show is cute & has promise. I've read the book it's based on, How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls & ended up liking it. The bad thing is I have a feeling it might be overshadowed by Gossip Girl & 90210.

Rachel Zoe Project: The woman is a walking SNL parody; she reminds me of a 40 yr. old version of one of the Olsen twins. But it does make for interesting TV.

ANTM: This is another show I watch when exercising, but it's actually interesting. Next week is the makeover episode, so I'll definitely be tuning in. I would love for Kimora Jr. to go home, but she'll probably be there till the finale to spite me.

Top Design: I think this may be the only Bravo reality competition show that I can't get into. But some designers from Project Runway will be on next week, so I'll be watching that one.

And I saw a commercial for Rock Of Love: Charm School, which starts up on 10/12. I really didn't pay that much attn. to Rock Of Love, but the last season of Charm School was quite entertaining, so I'll definitely be watching.

charm school should be good, i found it very entertaining.
i would hope there would be no more rock of love considering Brett doesnt have any luck in keeping any of the girls.although its fun to watch the trainwrecks, lol.

Megan, I tried watching 90210 since I loved the original show however, like you, I find it quite boring. I haven't been able to watch an entire episode yet so I won't be tuning in again. I was really looking forward to it.

I did enjoy the last Charm School so I'll definitely check this one out even though I didn't watch Rock of Love. It should be good though.

I also watched 90210, I really loved the original one. I normally try and give a new show 3 episodes to decide if I will keep watching or not. I dont think I can make it another week. Its really not that good, and the acting is pretty bad too.

I read that they are doing another Rock of Love. This time they are doing the show from his tour bus, so they can see what his life is really like. For some reason I dont think his touring is the reason he cant keep a girlfriend.

Gizmo, that's a good idea to give a show 3 episodes, and I probably would if this show was showing even a little promise. I just can't suffer through one more minute of 90210. Such a shame!

gizmo, your right, its not touring, i think its a couple of other things, good observation.

I think the reason that a lot of these reality TV dating shows don't work is that a lot of the "contestants" are looking for TV time & fame.

There have been a few of the ROL women on I Love Money. I've been watching that show this summer & it's been a guilty pleasure of mine. Sadly, there's no one left that I'm rooting for.

I agree with you Megan. Seems like after they get the man/woman, they break up soon after. But I guess when you look for love in the wrong place, you can't be surprised at the outcome.

Since this is the big TV premiere week, I thought it would be time for me to post more reviews.

HIMYM: It wasn't the most interesting episode, but it's good to see it back on the air. From what I've heard, the 4th episode is going to be a "must see" episode.

Ugly Betty: This wasn't the most interesting episode either. I'm hoping we won't have to see much more of Player magazine. I also think Hilda's bf is stringing her along.

Grey's Anatomy: This wasn't as interesting as the finale, but it was nice to see Bernadette Peters. And it'll be interesting to see how the whole flirtation thing between Christina & red haired army guy develops.

And since a couple of people were talking about 90210, I think the storyline has gotten better. The acting still sucks for the most part though. But I've heard it's been picked up for 9 more episodes, so we shall see how things turn out.

I watched Dancing with the Stars last night. I didnt like Kim Kardashians performance. it seemed like all she was doing was soinning anmd posing. The guy was basically dancing around her lol. I like the show though

I watched the season premiere of Pushing Daisies last night. I loved it! I was really disappointed when the first season ended really early last year because of the writer's strike. I'm so happy it's back. I think this is my favorite show now. Grey's Anatomy is a close second.

Recently, I've started to watch some new reality TV shows. I'm liking Scream Queens; it's interesting & unlike already existing reality TV shows. Stylista is another show I'm watching. It's not the best fashion reality TV show, but there's not much else on Wed. nights.

As far as other shows I already watch, I've been liking the most recent episodes of HIMYM. I'm curious as to how Alyson Hannigan's pregnancy will affect the show. And I'm glad that I won't have to put up w/ Lindsay Lohan anymore on Ugly Betty.

Lastly, if there's any Law & Order CI fans, the latest news I've heard is that USA is waiting until early 2009 for the premiere.

Since there hasn't been much on regular TV lately, I've been watching some TV on DVD. I've seen Season 1 of Mad Men & Seasons 1-2 of Dexter & have subsequently gotten hooked on those shows. Mad Men kinda starts off slow, but starts to get good halfway through. There's also a couple actors from Desperate Housewives on it too.

As far as Dexter goes, it starts off good w/ the 1st episode. It's very suspenseful. The only thing I don't like about it is that the lead actress from CW's short-lived Valentine series is on the 2nd season. Both that actress & her character are quite annoying.

i missed prison break last night, but got to watch the finale a couple of min ago online.
i didnt see any previews for the last season, ( i heard this one was the last one )
i cant believe the brothers mother might be alive, and i cant believe tbag didnt wanted to save gretchen, but who knows if she still is alive, i read on the fox board that this will send in april 09,i wondering how this is all gonna end, too many double, triple crossings.
im gonna miss the show.
