I know the scent has a lot of coconut in it, is it like a creamy smooth coconut smell? I just want to make sure it is more of a sweet smell rather than flowery.

Meg, you do smell coconut and it is floral but none of the notes are overwhelming. The whole combination of notes is very smooth, not harsh in any way. It's difficult to explain, but it's a laid back fragrance but at the same time it is sexy and sophisticated. The scent is calming yet exhilirating at the same time. This EDT is the ultimate summer fragrance IMO.

As Jeff mentioned, it reminds you of Bobbi Brown Beach. I haven't smelled Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess but he mentioned that one as well. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the IdT line that came out at BBW, but this EDT could have fit seamlessly into that line! I absolutely love Tahitian holiday; it has quickly become one of my favorites because it's one of those scents that can be worn anytime, anywhere by almost anyone. If you get it, I'll definitely be interested to hear what you think!

Lovey, do you know if Mark White Tea Vanilla is getting retired or is it just temporarily out of stock? I went to place an order for it and the website said that it was available through representative delivery only. I placed a stock up order for it through the rep just in case, but I'd love to know what the deal with that is.

Anemone, there can be several reasons for that. Sometimes it can be quantity related, other times it is coming from a different place that will only ship to the rep.

I do believe that fragrance is being discontinued, but I don't know why they won't sell it on the website until it's gone.

Did your rep check to see if it's in stock?

I was right, it did come today!

The box was a little beaten when it arrived, but the EDT was just fine, which is the most important thing!

And yes, I do really like it! It's a little more exotic than I expected, I thought it would be very suntan oil-ish, but it does have a little exotic-ness to it as well, but I do like it! All around a great summer fragrance. I think it will go pretty well with my cocoa butter lotions (hopefully)!

Thanks for the reply, Lovey. That is bad news for me that White Tea Vanilla is indeed getting discontinued. That was my signature fall scent! It seems like every scent from every company that I come to really love gets axed. Oh well, at least I can stock up through the Avon rep for a while.

That's wonderful, Meg! I'm glad you are pleased with it. I feel the same way that it is just a great summer scent and it goes well with all the stuff we use in summer anyway like suntan and sunscreen lotions and oils. I agree that it is a bit exotic but that's what makes it different than the fragrances I normally wear. Enjoy! Anemone, you never know, it may make a reappearance in the fall! Plus normally when things are discontinued, they show up in the outlet catalog from time to time. Tell your rep to keep an eye out for you and let you know if that happens.

I ended up ordering Tahitian Holiday from my MIL. I smelled hers and was sold! I think it's going to be awesome. Plus, she gives me discounts which is a bonus

I also have ordered the new trio of perfumes: Smile, Wonder, Fire Me Up. I am most excited about Wonder and Fire. I can't wait for those to arrive.

I got a shower gel in the Naturals Sunflower and Apricot and it's a nice late summer/early fall scent. It's sort of nostalgic for me.

Avon really does offer a great variety of things and it's fun to see what's in the new catalogs because it's always got something new!!!!

I think Avon does a fantastic job of anticipating customer needs and meeting demands. They really do stay on top of beauty trends and the catalogs are wonderful! I got my trio of perfumes. I LOVE them! Lasting power is quite nice as well. My favorite, as well as DH, is Make Me Wonder in the gorgeous purple bottle. I'll be wearing it this fall. 2nd fave is Fire Me Up.
