Some jack @ss got into my car today. I was at a university for a meeting and had stupidly accidently left my back door unlocked. Someone got in, and stole a leather briefcase (empty thank god!), some Kleenex (for a cold maybe?????), some makeup samples, and the worst part: my fraffle packages to Megan and OhNo. I am so sorry you guys. Maybe sometime I will try to send you a little something to make up for it.

I know the thieve must've been a woman, because they stole all of this girly stuff. It just really makes you lose trust in people....

Anan, that's unfortunate that someone broke into your car. However, at least the thief only took small items rather than stealing the car itself.

I admit, it'll be a little bit disappointing not to receive your fraffle package. At the same time, I understand that these crazy things sometimes happen. They were free goodies that you were generous enough to offer, so it's not necessary for you to make it up.

Anan, I'm so sorry! Like Megan said, at least the car itself was still there!

Anan!! I'm so sorry to hear what happened to you!! I am also happy to know that you are unharmed (physically). I know you feel a bit violated by someone getting into your car and going through your things like that. But as everyone's pointed out, it could have been much, much worse.

I have left my car unlocked a time or two myself even though I thought I locked it. You're not alone!

Well they also stole a coffee mug, went through my glove compartment, and I think tried to get the stereo. I'm just so freaked out. I hate knowing someone was in my car. I am so glad they didn't steal it.

Megan, as I'm unpacking, I'm sure I'll find more odds and ends to send. A lot of stuff got tossed into boxes that I didn't give a lot of thought to, so I'm sure I'll find something to send.

I didn't file a police report b/c there really isn't anyway to know how to find the person and the things they stole I don't really have to have back. It just annoys me more than anything...

Oh Gosh!Anan I am sorry that happened to you!

Well today my fiance got robbed. He works at a bank and a robber came in, put a semi-automatic pistol in his face, and then took cash. I was always afraid this might happen. Thankfully, my fiance is ok. He was pretty shook up but has managed to work the rest of the day. I'd have left ASAP myself.

Damn bank robber....

Holy crap! I'm sure that must've been really scary for your man. It's good that he was unharmed though. I hope the police are able to catch up with the culprit.

Wow, Anan! I'm sorry to hear that happened! I can imagine how traumatic that was for your fiance. I guess you always think about that happening in that type of job, but you hope it never does. I'm very happy to know that he just has a horrific experience to share instead of a tragic ending. Hopefully all the bank employees will be able to get through this.

Oh, I gave him a big huge hug last night. The police found the guy, but he was able to escape on foot and has robbed banks out of state as well. He's considered armed and dangerous, and the police say it's a matter of time before he does shoot someone.. My fiance did great through the robbery, but now he's having a little post traumatic stress. Stupidly, the manager didn't close the place yesterday.

Shame on the manager for not taking care of his employees and closing the bank.

I hope the police catch the robber soon.
What a lowlife.
