I just seen a picture of Nicole Ritchie today. I guess she just entered herself into a "facility" but she said it's NOT for an eating disorder.  I seen Patricia Arquette on the show "Medium" last year and I thought she was just pregnant, and that is why she was super "top heavy". I see now that's not the case! That is just grotesque.  I didn't even recognize Kate Bosworth from that picture, until I looked at it again.  |

its a shame, but thats the way these producers
and directors want them to look, thats disgusting to me. 50 yrs ago, that was not the norm, today marilyn monroe and jane russell would be considered fat, i consider that healthy to me, no wonder why girls today at 8 yrs old are on diets,  what has the world come to. i think its time for hollywood to wake up.  |

In US Weekly a few weeks back, there was a picture of Kate Bosworth bending over and you could see down her shirt. Her ribs were appalling. I need to scan that picture and post it here someday.

I don't know which is sadder: our society's standard of beauty, or the fact that we have standards of beauty!!
Honestly, there are very few women that I don't find beautiful in some way. I guess that's because I understand that beauty is found in many places, both inside and out. My daughter is a very attractive young lady, however I've always taught her that her that true and lasting beauty comes from within. It would be great if all women were taught this lesson. Maybe then we could stop letting men affect our self esteem and determine our self worth.
