UGH...I've got the sniffles .
I've been studying til' really late, professional projects have been really high profile, and the fact that I've been running around so much has left me run-down and susceptible to the sniffles . It seems everyone's got a slight cold these days and those people spread it by apparently being unable to close their friggin' mouths when they're out in public and they feel the need to cough or sneeze (yet another pet peeve of mine).

So now I have the cold...I still have exams and projects to study for/work on, so on top of being super busy, I don't feel that great. It's nothing major of course, but very possibly something that might keep me from spending a lot of time on the boards during the next few days.

I plan on being around as soon ( and of course as much ) as possible...because hey I just can't stay away , but if you don't see me much, you know why .

I'll keep everyone update on the package from my Secret Santa and regardless, I'm sure I'll be posting up a storm by then anyway .

Kimmer, hope you'll feel better soon. I know how it is, when stress goes up, that's definitely when the immune system's the most vulnerable.

Get well soon! Stay cozy and bundled and drink plenty of chicken soup (matzo balls optional ).

Feel better, Kimmer. I'm coming down with something myself. I have an ear infection that will NOT go away, and today my throat feels scratchy. Plus, I've got a HUGE (and annoying) project that I need to finish this week for work. AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH! Hang in there!!!!!!!!! And I will try to do the same!!!!!!!

Kimmer and BBW Rawks, I hope you both feel better soon! It's just the worse time to be sick, isn't it? Not only do you have regular obligations, but there's the added pressure of being joyous! Hopefully you're both feeling close to normal in the next few days!!

'Tis the season. I visited one of my older bros. yesterday and he was sick too. Hope everyone feels better soon.

Stress always makes me get colds and flus as well. When I'm super-busy, I forget to eat my fruits and veggies, and have less time to exercise - maybe that's why.

When I get stressed, I too get sick. I get zits too, ugghhh. I think your immune system weakens when you're extremely stressed out.

I woke up this morning coughing. Ugggh! I immediately took some medicine, and hopefully it'll go away in a day or so. I was so looking forward to a Christmas without being sick, since I've been sick for the past two.

I've been trying to get a cold out of my system for nearly a month! I am considering getting a flu shot this year.

I am a BIG believer in Airbornne. You need to go and get some and start taking it NOW. I think that stuff is an amazing product and has done wonders with making me feel better much faster. Also, I highly recommend Nyquil Daytime and Nighttime capsules. I start taking those the same time too. I hope this helps, and feel better soon

Anemone - Thanks for the well wishes girly ...and yes, I am definitely experiencing the sniffles from just being generally run-down . I am usually as "healthy as a horse" but recently being overly stress, not sleeping enough, and not eating properly has been the cause of it all. I need to learn.

Care-Bear (aka: Carrie) - Awwwww & ! You're an absolute sweetheart . Also, if you could be a dear and talk to the germs that are responsible for my sniffles and let them know that "it aint gonna fly" that'd be just peachy ...if only. UGH!
I am seriously curious about Airborne now...is it Herbal? It's non-prescription right? Unfortunately I cannot get it here, but if it's non-prescription then there won't be a problem sending it. Regardless, you're a sweetheart for offering, and I truly appreciate the gesture! As for it being a miracle worker...there's a reason you swear by it, and I am up for trying almost anything , especially if it means I can nip it in the bud before it (the sniffles) progresses and requires that I take medication.

Well, I'm not sick, so that's the good news. The bad news is that I've had a wisdom tooth growing in for the past three or four days, which hurts. I hope it'll be all grown in by Christmas, because it hurts to chew stuff now.
