Where I live, the range is $3.34-$3.49. It's insane! Eeker

I think that hybrids are going to have to become much more commonplace. The only problem is that there aren't that many styles to choose from now. Crap

On Tuesday gas in this area was $3.59 drop

Now it is in $3.52-$3.58 range. Crap

I agree on the hybrids, hopefully car companies start making more styles to pick from.

Where I live in CT, gas prices went up a dollar two days ago.
Eeker

89 (midgrade) is now $4.69 a gallon

93 (high grade) is now $4.99 a gallon.

Fortunately there is a grocery store, CVS, Rite Aid and take out places within a minute of walking time.

Here's an interesting article I found about how gas prices in the US are compared to other countries.

Gas Prices: US vs. The Rest Of The World

Very interesting, indeed.Yes

Gas prices in some countries in Europe have always been very high, but then again some of those countries have the best public transportation. If you're in university you can choose between free weekend or weekday transportation passes in Holland which are valid for buses, trams, trains etc. And most employers reimburse you for your travelling expenses. Parking on the other hand is always a problem, and rarely free.

i somehow see myself buying a bicycle soon
or skates, lol.
ive been trying to help in the cause by
offering to drive my little car instead of
driving in seperate vehicles, so that the person
with the truck or suv can save a little gas.
i try to do all errands all at once or places close to each other.
three years ago i trade in my xterra for my focus.i was spending a 100.00 a week on gas
back then i thought 2.35 was expensive. Eeker
i got my car when the auto makers were having those promotions of friends and family like deals.

Wendy, I hear you on the gas guzzlers. I have a Jeep Liberty, and even though its a smaller SUV it still sucks the gas down. Unfortunately if you try and trade them in or sell them, you get practically nothing now. Since nobody wants SUVs now, they pretty much offer you alot less than what they are worth. I drive close to 50 miles round trip to work a day, and its getting quite expensive at these prices. Roll Eyes
