The other thread is huge, so I thought I'd create another one.

My cat is so cheeky!
She is used to sleeping on me, which usually doesn't allow me a good night's rest. So for the past few days, I've been sleeping on my side to prevent her from getting on top of me, and I've never woken up more well-rested.Big Grin
This morning, however, I woke up with her on my side!! She will have her way, I guess.Rotflol

Too cute, Fryl! Rotflol

Every morning I go in to find my cat "attached" to my daughter's head! He lays on the pillow abover her and literally has his paws in her hair. If she moves, he tightens up to keep her still. It's the funniest thing! Smiler She has to move away very slowly, or there may be bloodshed.

Since it's Halloween season, I've been wanting to get my "younger sister" a witch hat. The only one I found @ Petsmart had artificial hair in it. Nono So she ended up getting an orange ghost blanket from Target instead. I took some Halloween photos of her earlier this week, which was a bit of a challenge, considering she doesn't really like to pose for the camera.

She's also been throwing some tantrums this week. Crap But she's been a little bit better about not scratching people.

My boyfriend and I have sort of come into another cat. He works off of a highway, and there was a stray cat sitting at the door of his work. He fed it some, and after his day was over, he decided to bring her home so she wouldn't get hit by a car or attacked by another animal or something. He put up "Found Cat" signs but I seriously doubt she'll be inquired about.

She's a very gentle cat that we estimate is about 7-8mos old. She's pretty thin, so we're trying to fatten her up some, and we're setting aside some money to get her spayed, checked up, and some shots. We have tentatively named her Marshmellow (not marshmallow) since she's white and is, in fact, very mellow.

Gravy has yet to meet her new sister, but we're planning to introduce them soon. Right now, Marshmellow is staying in boyfriend's grandma's large backyard (she lives down the road from us) and really seems to be enjoying life in the country. If Gravy can get along with the new cat, then we'll bring her home for good. If not, then she can keep enjoying the large backyard. Either way, it's a drastically better life than she would have had where she was found. Kitty Smiley

Lila the siamese is now a year old and a petite 5 poundsSmiler

I am looking forward to spending time with her while I am at my brother's home recuperating from heart surgery.

Thought after she was neutered, she would become more aloof. Not..LOL. She likes to ride around the house on my back, investigate EVERYTHING you are eating, and constantly demands to be picked up.

I'd bought several packages of those realistic mice from the pet store and she likes to 'hide' them around the house and have me 'find' them.

Lila is very vocal and 'talks' when she sees the birds and chipmunks at the bird feeder.

I don't know what the significance of 'kneading' is..but Lila has has trashed my Brookstone polar blanket with me in it! And drags it over to me.

I can't get mad at her about the blanket...even though they are expensive.

Jeff, the siamese are a very independent breed
and can be very fun, sort of like having a
"child" but more like a needy one, lol.
siamese are very vocal, and sometimes i mistake
a siamese cats cry for sounding like a babies
cry.
the kneading that most cats do, is a very funny
thing they like to do, ive heard its either from
when they are kittens trying to get the mothers
milk and also that they are content.
blankets can become ruined fast, its funny how simple things amuse these little cats.

cats are very sensitive ive found to their
environment, they often can tell when their
owner is sick or hurt.youll often see them
around more.
theres nothing better than "fishing"
for mice when they are hidden underneath the furniture, lol
sounds like you have a great cat there Jeff.

Marshmellow is such a cute name, Becky!!
How wonderful that you're taking care of her. I'm sure she's a happy kitty now.

I bought my cat the black cat keychain from BBW that makes cat noises. My cat loves it!

Also, I took a picture of her that I wanted to share with you all.

P.S. My cat had the costume on for just a few minutes so I could take pictures, so no harm was done.

Aww thanks ladies!hug
It's her costume for Halloween, but I won't put it on her anymore though because she was really miserable in it eventhough it only took a few minutes to take a couple of pictures.

I have some slightly sad news to report. It seems that Marshmellow wasn't too fond of her new home, because she has not been seen since Sunday evening.

I really don't think she got hit by a car or anything, but rather that she decided to move on from the yard. I only hope that I'm right in thinking that she's not dead or hurt, and that she found a family that can love her as she deserves. byecry

Fryl, that's a precious picture of Kylie!

Fryl,

I LOVED your cat in the costume. Love

She is priceless.

I picked up the kitty key ring that meows for Lila. The black one with purple trim.

When she heard it, she made a funny kitty noise and then walked away. Lila gave me the weirdest look.

I wish she were my cat instead of my brother's
because he ignores her.

What a kitty. I HID my Brookstone blanket under two comforters and she had the NERVE to find it and drag it all around the living room.
