I agree; this episode was disappointing. I also agree that pulling Tom & the kids out of the rubble in the first 5 min. made things a little bit boring. At the least, I thought one of them would wind up in the hospital.

Poor Carlos.

I think Katherine's secret was what they were going to discuss next. It'll be interesting to find out what it is.

I guess I'm a sap! I was so touched when all the kids came out ok.

My daughter said she didn't know they made fireproof paper, and the fact that she was able to get three pieces to put together with some understanding was so unbelievable.

I ended up watching the new episode on Sun. night. It wasn't the greatest, but it's good to have it on. I hope Chris Carmack isn't staying around too long. That guy has annoyed me ever since he was just an Abercrombie model.

I agree Megan the episode was so-so. It is nice to have some shows back on!!!

I think they really need to find something for Edie to do. The whole taking the nurse to lunch thing was stupid, I thought.

I saw the finale & here are my thoughts:

I'm so glad they sent Kayla away. She was such a sociopath.

It's also good that Katherine has replaced Edie as the 5th housewife. I was getting tired of seeing Edie around.

Gabrielle's storyline is going to be interesting next season. I knew something was up when they showed her looking rough.

I wouldn't mind if Mike was gone. I've never really liked that actor.

But the going 5 yrs. in future type of thing is kinda bizarre. I just hope they don't jump the shark.

I thought the finale was really good.

The only thing I found a bit "cheesy" was the whole Adam storyline. I found it a little funny that he threw that guy out of the car in his condition.

All in all I was very happy with the finale!

I agree with both Megan and Gizmo! Edie had no real storyline. I thought the ending was great and it definitely peaked my interest! That was a little unreal that he would throw that guy out of the car. Overall it was very intriguing but it's always so hard to wait til the next season.

I have to say that this show is starting off on a good note.

Both Edie's new husband & Orson have been creepy so far. Towards the end, I had a feeling that Bree was going to injure herself while making the pot roast.

I think Gaby's new storyline is interesting. Although I normally think she's a little bit selfish, I think she does have a right to worry about her daughter's weight. Childhood obesity has gotten to be a bad epidemic in this country.

I liked that tornado kitty survived & that Ms. McCluskey knows Edie's husband is up to no good.

I like the direction of DHs as well. Even though Gaby's character was a bit of a surprise, she's still a bit cruel making her daughter run after the car. So we haven't totally lost her! Orson seems to have turned into a bit of a butthead, hasn't he? I guess prison hardened him. The show is definitely off to a great start and should make for a really good season.

I also think this season is starting off really good. I am actually quite happy they moved 5 years ahead. I think it opens up all new storylines. I think some of the characters storylines were nearing a dead end, so I think this will be a good season.

i did watch a few episodes when they started, but now after watching the other night, i like
the fact that everything has changed, i like marcia cross character, and susan as well.
i only got to see the first half hour, so i missed the rest of it, my mind has a flashback to when gaby was messing with that other guy on carlos and now shes back with him.
edies hubby is whacked.

So now that the official "disaster/crisis" episode has happened, I thought it would be a good time to revive the thread.

Porter's affair w/ his friend's mom is just gross. I did like that Lynette stood up to that woman's abusive husband though.

I'm starting to like Jackson. I'm hoping that Susan doesn't mess it up, even though I know the writers will eventually want her to get back together w/ Mike.

"Grandma Solis" is kinda creepy, but I feel a little bit bad for her since it's obvious she's lonely. During last night's episode, I kept thinking she was going to die during the fire since they kept mentioning her will.

Dave still continues to be super creepy & . I think he may be the scariest villain Wisteria Lane has had yet. He knows how to play games w/ people & cover his tracks.

I watched the finale on Sun. night & enjoyed it. Somehow I knew Karl & Bree were going to hook up; there was a definite chemistry between them. And I love that Karl's back. It's fun to watch him, even if he is a snake. The storyline w/ Lynette's pregnancy seems like it will be interesting as well.

i watched the season finale on monday on fancast, i tried to stay up and watch it.

im glad edie is gone and dave is dead, i had to feel sorry for him that his family died, but he could have done something to help himself.

i knew mike was having seconf thoughts on katherine.mj is such a cute kid.

i wonder how many more seasons for the show?

I thought the finale was good too! The only thing I'm really curious about for the next season is who Mike married??

Lovey, i think it might be Susan, im hoping it is, judging by the ending, i think he married her, Katherine, just doesnt seem to be a good match for him.

I agree that he should remarry Susan, but I'm wondering if he will marry Katherine just to keep things stirred up. I believe either way, they will be back together.
