My thoughts on last night's episode:

Ian's exit was drama free. So now everyone can stop the Ian hating. I'll still like him better than Mike though.

Carlos needs to end things w/ Edie now if what he says about them never being serious is true. Also, Gabrielle has a valid point about Edie needing to stop taking other women's leftovers. I think Edie should leave anyway since she really has no purpose anymore.

Kayla is a little bitch.

I'm looking forward to next week's episode & the showdown between Tom & Rick.

No way, Kayla is doing the right thing. I don't know what Lynette thinks she's pulling but Tom needed to know. I am so mad at Lynette right now.

I agree that Carlos shouldn't string Edie along.

Again it turns out that I missed a small part. I saw the part where Lynette fired Rick & was obviously upset at him. Did he end up making a move on her or what exactly went on?

Also, I'm not liking it that Edie keeps using her kid to keep Carlos around. It's not attractive.

I agree that Lynette was defintely getting ready to cross the line of harmless flirting. I don't condone her behavior at all!

However, Tom was on my last nerves! If he'd have kept up that whining, I was ready to kick his butt myself. Nothing less attractive than a whining mate!

Megan, Tom asked Rick to lunch. He asked Rick straight out if he was sleeping with his wife. Rick tried to play it off but Tom wasn't having it. He asked Rick to quit, but Rick said he wasn't leaving until Lynette asked him to. Of course, Tom didn't want to fire Rick because Lynette would be upset with him. I guess when Rick told Lynette about the lunch with Tom, she was still in denial about where the relationship was headed. She said Tom's suspicions were foolish and Rick questioned that. So she felt she had to fire him.

I agree about Tom's behavior getting on the nerves. He's attractive, but his "I'm a victim of emasculation" attitude is starting to get a bit tiring.

I watched the season finale last night. I didn't think it was as dramatic as the season finales from the previous seasons, maybe b/c there wasn't a murder mystery to solve. The only real shockers were Bree's faux pregnancy & the end part w/ Edie.

Edie totally deserved to get dumped by Carlos. I didn't like her being around on the show, but I thought the end part was kinda sad. She did have other things going on for her (i.e. her career, men still find her physically attractive). I would've preferred for her to move to another town.

Kayla needs to learn how to mind her own business.

I have a feeling that things won't go according to plan w/ Bree's faux pregnancy. Danielle didn't seem very patient.

And lastly, I don't want Carlos back together w/ Gabrielle. I'd like it if they found someone new for him.

On Sun. night there will be a preview show for this season. The actual premiere isn't until 9/30 though.

Thoughts On Last Night's Episode:

Edie faking a suicide attempt just to keep Carlos around was so wrong on so many levels. I've changed my mind; she did deserve to die for her stupid & insensitive behavior.

I'm getting the vibe that the new girl (I think her name was Dylan) was sexually abused as a child. But then of course, that might be what the writers want people to think, and it might turn out to be something completely different. It'll be interesting to see what the new family's secret really is.

It was also sad to see that Lynette's cancer has been progressing. But I thought it was a little bit humorous when she puked in that obnoxious PTA mom's purse.

I really like last night's episode! I think this season will be much better than the ones in the past.

I also thought it was really good. There have been a few episodes in the past, that had me wondering why I was still watching it. So I am glad it started off good! I agree with everything you said Megan
I also heard that another new couple will be moving in soon.

Thoughts On Last Night's Episode:
The new couple in the neighborhood seems to be getting involved in conflict very quickly. It'll be interesting to see what else they stir up.

I was @ Bree & Danielle's argument in the beginning which ended w/ Bree telling Danielle to "go buy a dictionary".

Edie disgusts me.

Jesse Metcalfe needs to learn that his career is over. If he wants to "act", I think he'd have better luck w/ All My Children.

Next week's Halloween episode looks interesting.

My Thoughts On The Last Episode:

@ Mike's drug problem. I knew he was going to go back to get his pills out of the sink at the end. He didn't run the food disposal. That one was a little too obvious.

If Victor's dead, then I won't be missing him that much.

Anyway, there's 3 more episodes until DH is affected by the writer's strike. Small spoiler: The last 2 episodes planned involve a tornado.

I think so far this season has been so much better!!! I read a spoiler in a magazine, that I am really excited to see. I will keep it to myself so I dont ruin it for anyone

So we only have one episode left & that'll be showing in Jan. 2008. I hope the writers' strike ends soon so we might get a handful of new episodes in the spring.

Thoughts On Last Night's Episode:

It was interesting how they juxtaposed Gabrielle & Edie being nice to each other vs. Carlos & Victor fighting. I had a feeling that Victor would die since the spoilers have said someone's husband would die since the beginning of the season. Victor was the most disposable & won't be missed.

It's good to see that Mike's finally going to rehab.

I hope Tom & the Scavo kids are OK. What happened w/ Ms. McCluskey's house was a macabre sense of irony.

Where did the gay couple go? I haven't seen them since the Halloween episode.

I thought last nights episode was excellent. I cant believe we have to wait for awhile now for the next new episode. I read in a magazine they have decided to not air the last new episode until the strike is over

I also wondered where Bob and Lee were I did see their ugly fountain get destroyed!!!

All in all I thought that was one of the best episodes of Desperate Housewives

I loved that episode! It was so well written and fantastic - probably one of the best DH episodes ever.
I have a feeling that Tom and the kids will be ok, but that Ida Greenburg will have died. I wish they would have shown that cute kitty at the end walking up to Lynette and Mrs. McClusky as they saw the destruction.

I saw a commercial on ABC this evening that there'll be a new episode on 1/6. Yay!

I was really looking forward to this episode, and for me it turned out to be a let down. I think finding out the Tom and the kids were o.k. at the beginning of the episode was odd. I thought they would stretch it out a bit, make it a little more dramatic. The whole Carlos being blind, is a bit cheesy to me. I have a feeling they will wrap that up quickly. The worst part of the episode is when Katherines daughter dug the note out of the fire and was still able to read it. I had to laugh at that, because that is so possible

I just think the last episode was so good, that this follow up episode was a disappointment (for me)
