One of my cats (Jinxster) looks like his/her? twin!

Does your baby have wrinkles on his forehead that makes him look like he is always thinking of something? Everyone tells me he has a forehead like a "human".

The rest of my babies are all black (bombays) and he is the "oddball". My DH's favorite and he is always by his side.

Noelle, Jinxter is such a cute name, I bet he's really naughty too! My cat certainly is. She doesn't have any wrinkles, because there's not a whole lot of thinking going on her part.

I was finally at the breeder (a personal friend which makes it extra great ) and I have pics of two of the kitkats that I can choose from and I want your honest opinion because I cannot decide .

This kitkat is a male Seal Bicolor Ragdoll:

I still have time to make my decision . They're both "on hold", since one they are keeping and only one they are giving away (to me ).

They are both adorable and I'd love either one of them the same , but asking for opinions was an excuse to show you how absolutely adorable they are .

Future name of kitkat: Versace. AKA Sachi for short .

They are definitely adorable aren't they ...sooooooo soft. I would get both of them if I could . Maybe another time after I get the hang of caring for one kitkat.

Fryl - I am leaning toward the Seal Mitted Ragdoll as well. They are both so playful and mischievous. The Mitted one caught my eye immediately but due to them being so adorable I wasn't sure. They spay and neuter the cats upon delivering them to their new owners so that's an added bonus.
I'll need help with what toys to get and whatnot. Wow I am going to be a new kitkat-mommy.
As for not telling your cat you're in love with another ...what's it to you ? Gotta love pet blackmail . JK.

Seriously, I wish you could get both.

You'll need a comb or brush, maybe a kitty toothbrush
and cat toothpaste too? ( yes, I brush my cat's teeth, habit you know). Make sure your kitty is old enough to have its teeth brushed but starting while he's still young is definitely a good idea to make him become used to it.
Definitely a laser toy!!! Lots of feathered mice.
Litter box, cat litter, litter scoop.
Kitten food, food dishes and water dishes.
Cat carrier to tranport Sachi in.
That's all I can think of right now.

Tip: Take a worn article of clothing with you and put it in the cat carrier to get Sachi used to your scent. Your cat will stalk you for the rest of your life.
Feeding him will get you the same result though!

I am bookmarking all kinds of info on "how to care for my ragdoll" and am going through the cat fancier's association website to try to absorb as much info as I can on that end as well.

I am so nervous. I am sure taking care of a cat differs greatly from caring for a dog. Primarily due to the fact that though dogs think they're human, cats think they're G-d .

So wait should I already go with the carrier and a shirt or article of clothing when I pick up Sachi?

Kimmer, I was being sarcastic when I said not to get the laser toy before. My cat goes absolutely bonkers for it, and she'll stalk me so I'll play with her.
So you should definitely get it! Your kitty will LOVE it!!

Cats are very easy to take care of in my opinion because they pretty much take care of themselves. They're very independent.
I can understand why you're nervous though. I was too, when I got my cat. It's the first pet I've ever had and I didn't know anything about cats either. Like you I did a lot of research on the internet.

I'll definitely be getting a load of toys seeing as this is the only baby I'll be sharing with Brian in the near future .

I've had a variety of pets all my life so I am not so much worried as a new pet owner as I am about owning a cat specifically. I guess you could say there's a certain stereotype that goes with it.

BUT I am ready for the challenge. Plus...I am looking forward to having a kitkat with the "ragdoll personality".

Get this...my sister miiiiiight get the other kitten. We spoke to Julian (the breeder/friend) and he may just let my sister get the other kitkat. Mayyyybbbbe. We will see. She needs to make the decision too. After seeing them she wants one too.

I actually think I like the seal bicolor ragdoll better.

I've never had any pets other than goldfish, which are no fun at all. I really do want a cat though. Maybe I'll put that on my holiday wishlist.
