You're a sweetheart  ...thanks girly!My encounter was via PM not on the boards, but I hear what you're saying completely  . I very rarely post there...and if I do it's to either ask a question or respond to one. The reason for this is because well...along with what you've said, it's just so unorganized and completely irrelevant 99% of the time  .There's absolutely no comparison between this board and the ones on MUA...I  this board  . |

I know you will inform me on this when time permits, but I don't know that person (you had asked in the email), and if it is the person I saw post, then I don't think highly of her AT ALL  Also, I know this is off topic, but if I have to see one more person who post "what perfume should I wear tonight" or "I'm wearing such and such, what should I order from take-out" I am going to go off  Oh, and I have a flag button on my account now, so I may start flagging this person. She gets on my nerves.Anyway, sorry to have gone off and ANYONE who is on MUA (as I and Kimmer are), please do not take ofense to what I just posted. I just had to get that off my chest and I know I can say that here without getting bitched at over there. Wait which person? You don't think highly of the person I mentioned in my email to you? If that's what you're referring to, then trust me, I am not surprised you don't think highly of this individual. I was personally shocked at how immaturely not to mention how poorly she handled herself. Also, yes I will definitely fill you in .With that said, I want to reassure anyone here that's on MUA, that I know for a FACT that it's not anyone that's a member here. Of course, that in itself is a given because I know that NO ONE on this board could or would ever be even remotely like the person I am referring to. You guys are the absolute best ( quick...smile...we're having a Kodak moment  ). |

I know there's been a beta version of MUA that they were testing out for awhile, and it seems that it's up and running now.
Only thing is that I can't log in. Anyone else have problems logging in? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

Oops, I missed your post. It's an improved version of MUA, it's pink now instead of green and has a few added features. It's at the same MUA webaddress.  I'm not sure if I like it yet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

Gaaah, apparently it was just a test run because now whenever I click on anything I get this message: "The MUA beta is now closed. Thank you for your assistance as we address outstanding issues."

That is seriously SO odd
 . Before you mentioned the Beta Version all I saw was the older MUA website (and I logged in only like 30 minutes ago...less even). NOW when I go to the website, I too am seeing the "new" homepage.Thank you for posting a print screen of it though, Fryl  . |

Update: I can log in...but when I try to expand any of the features (like "my profile" for example) I also get this message:

UPDATE # 1:
Okay the new version of MUA is finally up and running  . From what I have managed to surf thus far, I am finding the new MUA to be pretty darn nifty !I haven't explored in depth but one of the things I am liking so far is that the token system is like eBay now...where right next to the token count it says 100% - or whatever percentage of positive tokens you have. NICE *two thumbs up*!!! UPDATE # 2: You can revert back to the old MUA skin if you're not liking the new Default MUA skin. The "old" skin is on the left of your screen at the bottom of the MUA tool bar under "Tools" -> "MUA Skins". Here's the latest dilly on MUA: Welcome to MUA 2.0! We have changed the code for MakeupAlley in order to achieve better performance, browser compliance and site manageability. Here are some of the new changes: OVERALL Makeover: The MUA code has been updated to XHTML/CSS and we have refreshed the design. Text Sizers: We added text sizers to the top navigation bar so you can resize the text on the site. This setting will be remembered on future visits to MUA. Auto Suggest Brands: When searching for swap items and reviews, you can now enter the first few letters of the brand, and the system will retrieve the brands that match your search. Tip: If you would like to see the full brand list as before, click on the preferences link under Swap/Product Reviews and change your option. MUA Homepage: The homepage has been updated with featured reviews, quick links to popular pages and boards, and highlighted photos. SWAP Auto Find: You can now use the auto-find feature even if you have more than 100 items. Flagging: Members with message board flag abilities can now flag swap items. Swap Score: The swap score has been revamped and now displays the percentage of positive feedback. Country Preferences: The product search now "remembers" your preferred country. I just logged into MUA but for some reason the old format is now the default again and I see no way to switch to the new layout

It's back to normal.
With the new version I think you'll be able to change themes (skins). Also, I've noticed that with Firefox there didn't seem as many problems. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
