I was meaning to start a "Project Runway" thread earlier since I know there's a lot of fans of this show on this board. Tonight is the reunion show & the season finale will be taking place over the next 2 wks. That being said, my picks for the top 2 are Laura & Michael.
And on a somewhat related note, is it just me or has Heidi Klum been a lot more visible during her current pregnancy? I say this b/c she's been doing a lot of modeling for VS recently, although they do have her strategically placed in the ads. This is fine by me since I find her a lot more interesting than Gisele Bundchen & Adriana Lima. I don't think I saw her around that much during her other pregnancies.
Great thread idea, Megan. Did you watch it tonight? I totally think Jeffrey did it, he acted so guilty the whole time. I can't believe he would do that, especially being a father. After coming so far he screwed himself over. I really think he could have won too.
Yea, I watched it tonight. The preview of the next episode looked like he'd end up being found guilty of cheating. But what was really shocking was seeing his gf. That woman looks like more of a freak show than he does. I'm surprised their baby doesn't have any tattoos yet. I feel sorry for that little boy.
I'm sooo excited that PR is back on!! Was Christian the one with the angled haircut and glasses? He was getting on my nerves already ... And I'm waiting for the claws to come out on the girl with dark curly hair that works at Ralph Lauren.

Yes, Christian is the dude w/ the weird hair. I thought his outfit looked like a Burberry reject.
I agreed w/ who won the challenge & who got sent home last night. I didn't think Ricky's dress should've been in the bottom 3 though; I thought it was pretty. Sometimes classic shapes/prints are a lot better than being "artistic".
I don't know how Elisa possibly could've thought that dress was good. She made a nice dress & the color contrast was nice, but all she did was tack on all the extra fabric in the back. That totally ruined it.
I couldn't believe the judges didn't say anything about Christian's asymetrical sleeves. It looked like a nasty accident, but they didn't say anything (or it was edited out).
I thought Elisa's concept was interesting, like how she was saying it was supposed to unfurl as she walked ... but it just didn't work. I think the reason the model tripped over it wasn't the jumble of scraps on the back, but the really odd hemline of the dress itself. It was sort of upside-down tulip shaped, which was only further complicated by all of the other fabric.
My personal favorite was the black and white dress with the bright blue accents. I don't remember the designer's name ... the good looking guy from Israel I think. His was one of the ones in the middle that they didn't really talk about.
I can't wait for next week!

Janelle, I think the black & white dress you mentioned was designed by Jack. He's the one that everybody says "looks like a superhero". I thought that dress was nice too, but I know of at least 2 girls who have dresses similar to that.
Chris's purple satin dress was nice too. I was surprised that wasn't in the top 3.
Rami is the good looking Israeli guy. He ended up winning this particular challenge.
I saw the commercial for next week they're bringing in a big name guest judge & it's supposed to be a huge surprise. I wonder who that could be since they've had a lot of other big name guest judges already.
Ah, yes, you're right ... Mr. Superhero! I was half asleep when I watched it, I recorded it so I might watch it again before next week's episode so I can keep everybody straight.
I actually kind of like the middle of the season when there's still a good mix of people, but not *so* many. 15 is just so much!

I really liked last night's episode. I would've been in Kit Kat heaven if I got to shop @ the Hershey's store.
I actually don't think Elisa should've been Auf'ed. Her dress looked nice, except I didn't care for the silver arm things. I thought Christian's outfit was the worst. It was a Reese's cup trainwreck.
I was shocked that Elisa is gone. She had quite a fan base and added such an interesting element to the show ... and since we know that the producers get just as large a vote as the judges, I am truly surprised they dropped her. I thought Sweet P's design was going to get her Auf'ed for sure. Her first skirt was truly awful ... it looked like what would happen if I were trying to design clothes.
My favorites, in no particular order, were Kit, Kevin, Christian, Rami, and Chris. I thought Ricky's was cute, but the dress looked kind of literally like a giant Kiss. Victorya's was blah and her model's Ice Princess pose was just bizarre and made her look like an IceCapades Barbie. Kudos to Jillian for making the Twizzlers work, but I wasn't digging the fringe skirt.

Edward, good point about Elisa's backstory. I think Bravo's done that w/ their editing in some of their other reality shows. So that's something we should be keeping a lookout for.
I was kinda disappointed they decided to send Kevin home instead of Christian. Kevin's one of the more "normal" designers, so I thought he should've stuck around for a little while longer.
Christian's attitude is annoying me. His blaming his poorly designed dress on his client was such a lame excuse. It's one of those obvious things that back ruffles look bad (read: make the butt look fatter) on dresses, esp. on bigger girls like his client.
I actually thought Sweet P should've won over Victorya. Jillian & Chris also had some nice looking dresses. I thought at least one of those two should've been included in the top.
Another thing that annoyed me is that a lot of designers decided to go really short w/ their dresses. Um...the challenge was prom dresses, not cocktail dresses.
I was also surprised Kevin went home because he was a pretty inoffensive designer and has made some good stuff in the past. I actually thought ricky's was the worst - it seemed really blah. I also liked sweet p's over victorya's but Chris's was my favorite.
I liked a lot of victorya's stuff but I agree she was a bit opinionated. when it came down to her and jillian i'm glad jillian is still there but it was a tough call.
