You're right I absolutely adore cold weather...and would love to be there right alongside those of you experiencing it. Orrrrrr I am willing to switch winking. It's cold and raining here, but it isn't snowing in Tel Aviv which is where I am Frowner (it's snowing up North and down South).

I think anyone sick of snow should pack your bags and head down to Florida! We've been having very spring-like weather lately. It's probably in the mid-seventies right now with sunny skies.

Love from Becky

I am glad we're having snow, since we haven't seen much of it in MI, but I really wish I could go back to Florida too!! Cool

I miss the huge malls, the sun, and the fact that you don't have to put on your coat and scarf everytime you go out.

There's no snow here, but there was a winter weather advisory last night. We didn't get stuff as bad as the people in TX, just really cold rain. Crap The temperatures outside are freezing & the weather is the coldest that it's been so far this season.

I think now would be a good time to go to FL. rofl

There's been two blizzards here in Colorado. It snowed every other day practically since. It's sooo dry too. My kids and I went outside today and we couldn't even make a snowball... It just crumbled no matter how long I cupped it in my hand.... Snow is no fun when you can't play in it!!!! shivering

It has been snowing for over a week here in Michigan, not heavily though but all throughout the day.
I just took the garbage out, and I tried to slide the small lid of the huge container open but it was stuck so I tried the back of the container but the lid there is much bigger and you have to lift it up, there was a lot of snow on it. Curse
I managed to lift the lid slightly because it was so heavy and all the snow fell on top of my head. Rotflol

It's 17 degrees where I am so it's not too bad.
My thermostat is set at 70 F during the day, but programmed to go down to 58 F after 22:00.

It took awhile for my husband to get used to that "tropical" temperature because he'd always set the thermostat really low. But needless to say I changed that as soon as I got tired of it being more comfortable to be outdoors than indoors when I moved in. Rotflol

We got a lot of snow today! I drove for the first time all by myself in this much snow.. Errr
I only went across the street to the mall though.Nerd
It's a good thing that my car has super tires with awesome traction, but I don't think I'll be driving any great distances until there's way less snow. cold2

Fryl,

58 degrees?! shivering I turn mine down before we go to bed to 70 and during the day, it's on at least 72-73. My husband and I play thermostat tag all the time, Razzer as he would like it turned down more.

I am glad that we are finally getting some snow. Escape Not that I like driving in it, but the salt trucks have been doing their job pretty well, so no worries about that. Smiler

Noelle, my husband doesn't like to have the thermostat set at a high temperature either.
He probably cringes everytime I turn it up. Rotflol
He was much worse when I first met him though, I have to say that he's come a long way but it took some work!-> whips

Be safe and warm those who live in cold climates!hug

I love winter weather, except for the dry air. I am being zapped left and right, and can't even pet my cat because of the static electricity. I am going to have to avoid going to places that are carpeted as well. Crap

I cannot get over how oblivious my doggies are to the cold. (And one of them was shaved recently, so it's not like she has a ton of fur!) The windchill temp. right now is -10 degrees F. We walked for about 20 minutes. My upper body was toasty because I had a down ski parka on with a down hood, but my legs were turning into ICICLES. shivering Yet my putts were happy as clams and could easily have kept walking for another half hour or more!!!! Those crazy canines. Eeker
