She was a friend of a friend, and I thought I could trust her. I filed all the appropriate charges early this week, and waiting to hear what happens.

missamerica32? Wow, I had several swaps with her almost 3 years ago. She even started her own e-tailer under the name www.candyheadshampoo.com which had a lot of drama surrounding it. Just do a board search on MUA if you're curious to know any of it. I wasn't involved, I just read some of the posts on it.

It's just weird how someone who seems like a great swapper for years can turn around and become a swaplifter. Then again, bzymom2jj was a long-time swapper when she tried to swaplit several people, myself included...

Username is Nana88. Anyone here ever swap with her before? ST people say she is slow but pulls through. I don't know why people don't give neutral tokens for this. I was under the impression she was a good swapper with 66 positive tokens, 100%. I told TraceyB about it because she swap with her in May, and she changed hers to neutral because she remembered it was slow and wanted to warn others.

Same story as my first bad experience. We communicate great at first, finalize, I sent my end out 6/10, she got it, lack of communication since finalizing the swap until I send the message about leaving a neutral/negative, THEN she gets back to me.

Any information on your experience with her would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

Meg, sorry to hear you've run into another snag.
At this point, you may want to consider swapping with established swappers only, until you reach that level of tokens, where you don't have to send first anymore. For me an established swapper is someone with hundreds upon hundreds of positive only tokens. I realize that that may not be a guarantee for a worry-free swap either, but at least your chances are better.

I really hope you don't have to wait for your package much longer.

I definitely agree with you, I will be swapping with the "veterans" from now on, or possibly just go on a swap break to recover!

From what I've learned on ST and other MUA members is that she is a very slow shipper (lots of excuses for delays) but will get your item to you eventually. She messaged me last night apologizing for everything that she was in the hospital for food allergies and just got out and would be sending my package today. I told her politely I was sorry to hear about her circumstances, but that I was worried when I hadn't received or heard anything from her.

So I guess we'll see how it goes!

Just an update for everyone, my item arrived on Thursday 7/3!

We finalized on 6/9 and I sent my end out 6/10, so it took almost a month for my item to arrive because she took that long just to send it out to me!

I'm just thankful it finally came.

There are stories in my thread on ST about her taking a long time to ship, and yet people leave positive tokens.

I'm not swapping much anymore because I do not have many items or time to swap anymore. Hopefully I will not encounter this again as I will be very picky!
