I started a swaplifter/problem swapper thread where you can list problems and featured it. Also featured the Super Swapper thread so they're both easy to find.

I got a MUA mail this evening from someone else mentioning they had problems dealing w/ her. Apparently she's ripped off someone for MAC stuff on Live Journal & ripped off somebody else too.

Oh well, she's gotten herself into a lot more trouble now that we know this isn't an isolated incident.

What a sad person! Perhaps a call to her employer is in order, like Tracey suggested.

If you google her username, a lot of profiles pop up, most seem to be hers.
I saved her pictures just in case. I know it's her because they match the one she had (but deleted a long time ago) on her MUA profile. If you need them for any reason, Megan, PM me.

In fact, she's lucky I'm a decent person, or I'd upload them on here so everyone can see what the swaplifter looks like!
Maybe that would mobilize her to do the right thing!

you know i was just thinking, she was the same person who made a comment to me about going to the bath and body works party, i got her number.

Megan, I know you read MUA but incase you missed it. Someone was looking for Lahoorah this evening, she said she missed her and hadnt seen her on in a while. There were a couple replys. Just wanted to let you know, she must be hiding from MUA as well now.

I saw that thread last night. I wrote a comment letting people know she was swaplifting. I don't know how many people saw it though. She stopped posting on MUA soon after I sent the first PM asking about the status of my stuff.

According to another swapper, the excuse she has given for not sending out packages is that "she's been really busy with school". I believe there's some truth in that, but I don't buy it fully as an excuse. Not when people have been waiting weeks for their stuff and the swapper only got a response from her after filing a Paypal claim. And most college campuses have POs, so I don't see why it should take that long to send stuff out.

Megan, I'm truly sorry that something so terrible happened to someone as sweet as you. I was nearly swaplifted myself back in 2005 or 2006, so I can feel your pain and confusion. As the others said, I would definitely make an account on Swaptawk and repost this information over there. The women there don't take kindly to swaplfters and will make this person's life a living hell. Practically a 24/7 witch hunt over there, but in a way, I guess it's good that we have people like that who take on these pathetic swaplfters with so much aggression. Hopefully her information will eventually make its way onto the swaplifters page.

I know something like this has probably really turned you off to swapping, but just remember that there are still some sane swappers out there. I swear, after my swaplifting situation, I was so turned off that I never wanted to swap again. It took me a while to want to swap, even with the nice people here. I wish you luck in this awful situation and in your future swaps.

I have an update w/ some good news & some bad news.

The good news: The other swappers who were having problems w/ her finally got their stuff. But this was only after waiting several wks. & Lahoorah only was mobilized to send those packages out after a Paypal claim was filed against her.

The bad news: Guess who still has no package or reimbursement? I'm royally pissed that somehow I'm the "chosen one" she wants to take advantage of. You would think that if she wanted to "redeem" herself, she would try to resolve her outstanding swap w/ me. After all, I have filed fraud claims against her. If she's found guilty of that, it could result in fines or jail time for her. Somehow I would think that if she's smart, she'd want to avoid getting in legal trouble. I haven't blocked her from sending me MUA mail & she knows where to find me on there, so it's not impossible for her to try to remedy the situation w/ me.

Wendy, I won't be letting this situation deter me from swapping (esp. w/ several people here who I've had multiple successful swaps with ). But as a response to this incident, I did add an anti-swaplifting policies section to my swap list. Hopefully I won't have to resort to enacting any of those policies in the future.

Megan, I wish I had one, I'd be glad to send it to you to replace yours! I think I only have half a bottle of the lotion or you could have that too. I am actually shocked to hear this about her, I'm not here like some of ya'll so I don't get to know a lot about you girls, but I think very highly of all of you. I wish I had more time to "be here". I am sorry to hear this happened to you, especially being a B&BW employee myself. She should be so ashamed.

for what it's worth, as a bbw employee it is grounds for firing if someone is known to sell, maybe trade - i'm not sure on the specifics, products online or in person. the whole thing is treated as no better than shoplifting so that might be some information worth knowing either for megan or as a warning for lahoorah

Edward, that's very interesting information. I figured that BBW SAs weren't allowed to sell, but I didn't know they were allowed to trade. If that was the case, she should've just offered to reimburse me in the first place. And I wouldn't have sent out my package until I received payment from her, so this whole mess would have been avoided.

I did happen to glance upon her blog & noticed that she made references to selling on Ebay. I decided to check out her feedback on there to see if she was screwing anybody over. Turns out, she doesn't have any negative feedback. But I found lots of other interesting things.

hey megan, just to clarify, i think it may be against bbw policy to trade as well as sell. i know for a fact that selling is against policy, but trade i'm not 100% certain.

Trading or not, having those ebay listing is definitely against policy.
