Hello, elves. I have a little announcement to make before our thoughts are turned to Thanksgiving & Black Fri. I'm happy to see that a lot of you are finishing up your shopping. I want to remind you that the shipping deadline is Dec. 10 (3 wks. from now). Since that date is getting closer, I'm providing a little reminder & some additional info.

Here's an idea of how things will work:
1) Delivery confirmation or tracking is required. When you ship out your item, send me a PM letting me know along w/ the DC/tracking #.
2) I'd prefer it if you could send your PMs to me about sending & receiving packages in the "Elf Assignment" PM I sent you back in Oct. My PM box is quite full & that'll help keep it less cluttered.
3) In order to retain some element of surprise, please don't post about when you sent out your package. However, I will start a tracker in this thread (using smileys). That way, everyone has some idea of how things are going.
4) Please PM me when you receive your package.
5) We can open presents as soon as all packages have been received. This means the sooner we have all packages sent out, the sooner we can open presents.
6) I will be posting feedback in the swapper thread.

Today is officially Dec. 1, meaning that we have a little over a week to ship our packages.

I'm putting the "tracker" up now in my signature. If any updates are available, it'll be updated around midnight Eastern time.

I haven't got my package ready yet, in fact, I need to go through my stash for some extras which I plan on doing this weekend. Once I have everything together I'll start wrapping. I already have my flat-rate Priority Mail box that I picked up at the post office a few days ago.
My goal is to ship on Wednesday.

My sweetie was nice enough to stop by the post office today to get me a box!

I have everything wrapped and boxed, but unfortunately I wasn't able to make it to the post office today. I will however make sure it gets out before the deadline.
Also, I hope my elf doesn't mind, but the wrapping isn't fancy or festive, I thought it was more important to have everything be well-protected rather than look pretty and break in transit.

P.S. I took pictures of everything before and after wrapping. Maybe some of you will be interested in seeing them, after we've opened up our gifts.

Ooh, Fryl, I'd love to see pictures once the packages have been opened! I love to see what everyone else got.

I didn't join the holiday swap this year, but I hope to do it again next year because I loved doing it the first time!

All gifts have been received! I think everyone knows what that means...present opening time!
