Hi - I have been reading throughout this forum, and have come across many different acryonyms I am unfamiliar with. Some I can deciper, and others I have no clue (especially when it comes to non B&BW products). I was just wondering if maybe we can have an ongoing list of acronyms that are commonly used to avoid any confusion. It would be helpful for those of us who are new, and are not yet familiar with the acronyms commonly used. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have concluded the following:

Sorry to bump up an older thread, but I must know, what do RIS and HG mean? I've seen them on MUA and I cannot think of what they mean!

Meg, I am not sure about RIS, but I think HG means holy grail. Someone please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Gizmo, you're correct on the meaning of HG. RIS means "received in swap".

I've also added/edited some things to my previous post & added things that others had previously mentioned. That way we can have a nice master list of acronyms.

I think so, it was in a listing of a swap, like for example "Vera Wang Princess SIB."

Ahh...then I would guess it means "still in box". I'll add it to the list.
