I have never purchased a worse product than the Shiseido eye make up remover. They changed the formulation, and now it really sucks! At first I thought it was just oily, but that it still did a good job at removing all the make up, but that's not even the case now that I've been using it on a regular basis. I'm going back to Lancome Bi-facil.
Do you have a product to nominate as the worst product?

I have a few... Coffee
Freeze 24/7 and its drug store clones. This product does not work!

Clinique DDML. There is nothing dramatic about dramatic diffent moisturing lotion. About as useless as Vaseline Intensive Care. Mineral oil and lanolin clog pores and cause blackheads.

Creme de La Mer. Like rubbing a candle on your face. Costs a fortune...where is the mystery ingredient?

Strivectin (sp?) and drug store clones. Better than Botox? Not. There is more botox (botulism) at the mall food court.

Clinique Liquid Soap/Clarifying Lotions. If they don't dry your face out, they are perfect for taking black marks off linoleum.

Shiseido Bio Performance. Not a moisturizer. Does not address 'discoloration or hyperpigmentation.

Lancome Skin Care. Too much perfume. Made by L'Oreal. Same product, different packaging and price. Garnier is also made by L'Oreal and CVS always has specials. It's also affordable.

L'Occitane and other 'shea butter' skin care products. Why spend the $$$ for 2% to 25% shea content. 100% organic shea butter can be found online for as little as $14.

I've either sold or used most skin care products. If you have any questions about a particular product please feel free to ask me.

Here's my list.

CO Bigelow Lemon body cream: Normally I have raves for the CO Bigelow line, but I tested out a sample of this. My skin ended up being sunburned by the end of the day. Crap And it was Mar. when I used it, so it wasn't due to too much skin exposure.

Clinique DDML: I agree w/ Jeff about this one. This made me break out. Crap I frequently refer to it as "the yellow crap". The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel has been better in my experience.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2: When I go to the Clinique counter, I'm either typed as a 1 or 2. The type 2 toner is far too astringent. However, the type 1 toner is much more gentle & works for me.

Lush Angels On Bare Skin facial cleanser: I got a sample of this in my very first order. It looks & smells so horrid. Not to mention that it has a shelf life of only 3 months. Crap

Clinique Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover: I know some people consider this a staple, so this isn't meant to be an offense to fans of the product. I tried some of this out & it was far too oily for my tastes.

MAC lipsticks: This is one product that I'm sad to include on the list. They have wonderful colors, but all the glitter in them eventually ended up causing the area around my mouth to break out too much. Cry

VS Key Lime Lust lotion: I love the scent of this, but the coloring of the lotion kinda gave my feet a yellowish hue. Crap

*Clinique 3 step system. IMO, it's such a scam.

*Maybelline Great Lash mascara. Can we say "clump fest"?

I have to agree on the Clinique 3-step skincare system. I think its horrible.

*Smashbox Face Primer- it really broke me out, as soon as I stopped using it my face cleared right up.

*Sephora nail polish- it chipped after a couple of hours Crap

*Dove deoderant and bar soaps- they both gave me a rash.

I have some more to add to my list.

VS Garden haircare: The shampoo & conditioner dried out my scalp. Crap I'd love to have my hair smelling like VS Garden scents, but the formulation was terrible.

Herbal Essences haircare (old line): This dried out my scalp too. Crap I was so glad they decided to get rid of this last year.

BBW glycerin soaps: There was a time when I used to love these. But since that time, I've discovered handmade soaps cut off the block. And BBW's glycerin soaps just feel greasy in comparison.

Skincare products that contain salicylic acid (except for spot treatments): Salicylic acid is good for zapping zits, but if it gets on a part of the skin that doesn't have any problems, it dries it out. To compensate, that skin overmoisturizes itself, thus causing a breakout. So it works for spot treatments, but using it for anything else really isn't a good idea. Yes Check any product that's specifically formulated for acne to see if it has this ingredient in it.

Need A Margarita scrub: This will probably sound blasphemous, but this scrub was really oily. It caused my skin to feel like an oil slick & clogged up the bathroom drain. Crap It's a shame since it smelled really good.

100% Pure Vanilla Bean Buttercream scrub: Again, oil slick issues. Roll Eyes

Lancome mascara. Any of them. They suck in general.

I just stick with my Voluminous by Loreal.
