I'm in the middle of a possible swap when the lady I'm swapping with brought up a good question. She's interested in my jaqua peach parfait body butter. I bought it at Ulta a little while back and it says it's 5.6 fl oz. But if you look on the website it says all their full size body butters are 6 fl oz. I've never bought a gift set in jaqua, but could this have come from part of a set???

I've never seen a 5.6 oz one before, and I just checked the Jaqua site to see what size the butters come in for the sets... and on Jeannine's Bakery Gathering Kit, the butter that comes with it is 6 oz. The trio samplers are 2 oz... and I don't see any available that are 5.6 oz. Maybe that's a special Ulta size? Confused

I just don't know. I told her if she wants to pass on the swap that's fine. I don't know what to tell her because it is odd that mine says 5.6... Blahhhhh... idunno

Don't quote me on this, but I had the same ? about a BBW item and I talked to the SA and this is how she explained it: Basically, sometimes a manufacturer will label an item 6 oz, because that is the size of the container, but the actual weight of the product may be smaller/lower. Does that make sense? In other words, what we see on the bottle may really be the size of the container, not the actual product. Like I said, this is how it was explained to me.

Now, enter what I learned in my Mechanical Engineering classes: Take a 6 oz. container, fill it 5.6 oz of product....perfect because you have to leave breathing room for the product. Ok, I've had 2 children since my "Engineering Days" so someone correct me if I am wrong. My brain has totally trasformed to only understand Dora, Sagwa, The Wonder Pets and Leap Frog!! Crazy

They emailed me back and said that peach parfait is supposed to have 5.6 fl oz. It's a mess up on their website. Cool! Jaqua gets a thumbs up in my book for emailing back pretty fast! Thumbsup
