I didn't even try the Wasabi Green Tea. To me, that sounded even worse than the Green Tea & Cucumber stuff that BBW had a couple of yrs. ago.

On another note, the last time I was in Williams-Sonoma (which was a few wks. ago), I saw a candle in Spring Violet. The packaging looked similar to the Spiced Chestnut they had out during the holiday season, except it was purple. I think they only had 3 of them out @ the time, but that might be their seasonal scent for spring. I'll have to go check tomorrow & see what I can find.

BBW Manager, aren't the peas the best? Not too many people know about them.
I just got a ghastly thought...WS Wasabi lotion layered with Demeter 'sushi' or 'lobster' EDT.
Then I could smell like My Kitchen (aka Diarrhea Kitchen) in the food court. Eeker

They have all the Spring Violet stuff out on display now @ Williams-Sonoma. The packaging for it does have a purple shade to it, but the product itself is colorless. It smelled nice, but is a little on the expensive side. It was nicer than the WBCC Violet candle last yr., but it wasn't as good as Violet Bouquet in FBC.

I finally found an Ebay auction for the Spring Violet handsoap & lotion. So if you haven't stopped by Williams-Sonoma recently, you can see what I'm talking about.

It's cute, but I would never buy a bottle of liquid hand soap without a pump top!! I would hate to have to unscrew the cap and pour it out every time!!

Ciao!

Will have to check that one out. Grey Flannel men's cologne is a violet fragrance and it gets a lot of compliments. BBW should've brought the violet DBR line back as it disappeared rather quickly. Crap
Violets are interesting. Some great violet scents are Yardley April Violets, Parma Violet and Knize Ten after shave for men...Cary Grant used it.
Flower Flower Flower Flower
DW gets me the Knize Ten from Caswell Massey Smiler

I'd never buy it either, seems like it would be a pain to use it.

I don't think I'd get the handsoap or the lotion b/c the bottles are just way too big to use up. I was interested in getting the room spray in this scent, but it was in a glass bottle, so it cost close to $20. The candle costs about $20 as well, but it's a big filled candle & those types of candles are available for similar prices @ BBW. I'm so tempted to buy the candle though, but I probably should wait for a sale before I even think about buying the room spray.

I saw a new ltd. ed. scent @ Williams-Sonoma today. It's called English Wildflower. The packaging is in the same style that Spiced Chestnut & Spring Violet were in, but is a blue (navy looking tone) color. It smelled dreadfully boring. For some reason, it reminded me of powder, but that's all I can remember about it.

I was just in WS tonight & they had the violet line on sale 20%. Still expensive but I do like their lotions.

Also, the bottles come with pump tops. They include them separately at the register when you purchase them!

Williams-Sonoma is now having their summer sale. Quite a few home fragrance products, lotions, & soaps are on clearance.

Scents On Sale:
English Wildflower
Spring Violet
Italian Bergamot
Kaffir Lime

I was pleasantly surprised to find the Spring Violet room spray for only 99 cents! wow It had originally been $18. The only other products that I checked the prices of were the Kaffir Lime room spray ($3.99) & the English Wildflower dish soap ($8.99). But I'm sure there are some good bargains to be found on other products in those 4 scents as well.

At the register, I saw a new votive sampler that contained Pink Grapefruit, Wasabi Green Tea, & French Lavender.

I went to Williams-Sonoma over the weekend, but I didn't notice any lotions and soaps on sale. I suppose because I am not really interested in their bath & body products. I did see the new stuff though, the Pink Grapefruit is not too bad.
I didn't try the Wasabi Green Tea or the French Lavender.
