Art stuff is already extinct at our store. We had some for the sale but now it's all about American Girl.

I think American Girl is a nice line for young girls & is much better than Art Stuff. That looked a little to glittery to me.

They have completely pulled Lip Smackers out of Walgreens here. They've rearranged the entire cosmetics wall too, and some other brand has taken over the area where Lip Smackers was. Cry

Good news, I was back in Walgreens and they have put Lip Smackers back out. However, it's no longer on the cosmetics wall. They now have a cardboard stand / display, and it is set up in the middle walkway in the center of the store.

Hmmm...that's a weird place for it. Have they downsized the collection a lot?

Thanks for letting us know TDJ!! Popcorn

Actually, it seemed to me like they had increased the collection because all 4 sides of the stand had products on it.

It is a strange spot for it, I didn't much like it in the middle of the walkway because it's hard to look when people are trying to pass.

Lip Smackers have been around since the 60s or 70s and don't think they will ever be dicontinued. Smiler
Bonne Belle is a very very good company. PDC now makes the original Skin Musk circa 1970s. You can get a cannister spray at WalMart or drugstores for under $4 and sometimes $3.99.
Two other products that will never become extinct are Pretty Feet and Rose Milk lotion. Julie London, the nighclub singer, used to do commercials for Rose Milk on TV. She was also the Marlboro Lady.
If you all want to see Julie sing the Marlboro Song...'Google' Julie London Sings and click on the link. Lots of interesting products of this nature are available at drugstore dot com. Eyebrow

I must rave about my Cake Batter gloss. It is one of the better Lip Smackers sponge glosses I've gotten (though nothing will beat my SPONGE on LAYERed CAKE Birthday Cake gloss). At first it smells like the Cookie Dough gloss that they have, but then changes and smells more like cake batter. The color is really sheer, and it tastes ok. I'm not sure if it's supposed to have a taste, but I like it.

That sounds like a good one Becky. Have you ever tried the Smooth and Creamy line? They are just basic Lip Smackers. I'm currently using a Watermelon and Cream one. It tastes super. I got it in a pack last fall with about 8 others, you've probably seen them before.

I think Anan may be referring to the Vanilla Creams Party Pack. I've seen this @ Target. It's one of the cutest Lip Smackers items that I've ever seen.

The flavors include:
Whipped Cream
Berries N Cream
Raspberry N Cream
Bubble Gum Vanilla
Watermelon N Cream
Strawberry N Cream
Cookies N Cream
Cherry Vanilla

Hey Becky, I saw you mention the Sponge on Layered Cake Birthday Cake Smacker. I'm not sure how similar it is, but the Smackers web store (www.colorandflavorshop.com) has the Wedding Cake version on clearance - 2 for $2. For anyone else interested, they have a bunch of other 2 for 1 clearance deals right now. Just thought you'd guys might be interested (in case you didn't already know) Smiler

I was checking that website a couple of days ago & saw so much stuff that isn't carried in stores anymore. It's such a bad temptation.
