I received a Sallys Beauty Supply monthly sale ad in the mail today. They had a note on the nail polish page that China Glaze nail polish is coming soon to SBS.

Besides OPI, China Glaze is one of my favorites. If I remember correctly China Glaze is also made by OPI, I think. The only place I have seen it lately is at Ulta, which is pretty far away from me. So I am pretty excited that SBS will be carrying it soon. Big Grin

Just in case anyone else was interested, I wanted to post this. Fryl how did you end up liking the China Glaze polish you bought?

Thanks for the info, Gizmo.
I have TMI and Ruby Pumps. Ruby Pumps is a gorgeous colour, but it's way glittery.wow
I'll have to wear it when I'm in a more festive mood. Right now I'm into subdued spring colours.
I haven't worn TMI yet either, but that'll change soon.
I'll post a review once I've done my nails with it.Yes

I've seen the ChG selection @ Ulta, but all they have is the OMG collection & the neon colors from last yr. Crap

I do admit I've been looking at this line. Designer Satin & Outta Bounds intrigue me the most as of now. Yes There are also some gorgeous blue colors (i.e. Aqua Baby & Turned Up Turquoise) that are tempting & would look good on me. But I don't know if I could buy blue nail polish since I never really wear blue clothing other than jeans.

The only problem I have w/ ChG is how some of the collections are marketed. I think the OMG collection is trying to be too "cool". A lot of the texting expressions used as color names annoy me.

I also don't care for the marketing of the upcoming Sexy Sport collection. The model photo looks like it's from Maxim and the collection is more "sexy" rather than "sexy sport". I've heard the common thread between all the colors in that collection is that they have "sexy" in the name (i.e. Sexy Lady, Sexy In The City). I think the collection could've been a lot more fun if they used sports related names. Yes

I've also found China Glaze nail polish at select Jewel/Osco stores. I bought it once and thought it was pretty decent for the price.

Wow, thanks for all the pictures and info, Megan. I am actually wearing China Glaze TMI right now.
I love the colour.Love
I think I like OPI better, because it seemed like the ChG nail polish didn't go on as smoothly, but maybe it's because I didn't wait long enough after applying my base coat.
The quality is great though, it's been three days and no chips.Big Grin

I got my first ChG nail polish tonight. I found Vertical Rush in the clearance section of Ulta for $2.99. There's a couple of other polishes from the Ski & X collections in the clearance section too.

Anyway, Vertical Rush is a nice burgundy shade. It's a little bit darker than the reds I've been used to wearing, but it is nice on me. I think I'll have to wear it when winter gets here.

I also tried Ruby Pumps today. My sentiments about this shade are the same as Fryl's. Very pretty, but also very glittery. But part of me is tempted to get it & just use it for pedis only.

Lastly, I think I do prefer OPI more than ChG. I've been spoiled by the OPI Pro Wide Brush & it's somewhat difficult to adjust to ChG's thinner brushes. But ChG does offer shades that OPI doesn't have & brand diversity is always good, so I think I'll occasionally be buying polishes from them.
