It's been awhile since I've last bought any make up.
The one you like is called Grape Juice, and it's more purple. The colours turned out slightly different because of the flash.
Also, they go on very sheer.

I can't believe the amount of samples I got.

I know I was shocked by all the samples they gave you too, that was very nice of them.

You hardly get any samples at counters nowadays, so I was shocked as well. The SA was very sweet and knowledgeable.

Today, I depotted 2 MAC eye shadows in order to fill my MAC palette. It means to take the metal pan that's filled with the eye shadow out of its plastic encasing so it'll fit into the slot.
You can melt the encasing off (I think) or just try to pry it open. I chose the latter method, and so far so good.
ETA: The pan is glued onto the plastic, so you need to dissolve the glue with alcohol. It's easy to get it out once you're able to find an opening to drip the alcohol into.

The eye shadows are really delicate so you have to be careful. I don't have enough eye shadows to fill the rest of the palettes, so that's where the pigments come in. I'll definitely post a picture when it's all done.

That's a fun project you're working on Fryl. I can't wait to see your pressed pigments. I read about doing that long ago, and I can definitely see the advantage of pressing them then putting the pot into a palette. Then you have some of your favorites in one place instead of having to open each individual jar. Good thinking!!

The best thing about pressed pigments is that it's no longer messy to work with!
I experimented last night, and succesfully pressed my Sunnydaze pigment.
Here's the result:
