I saw the VS make up today at a VSB. Oh WOW!
Everything looks so awesome. I didn't get anything because I didn't have my $10 off of a $50 purchase coupon with me.

Anan, I see that you bought some lipstick. I actually didn't like Sweet Nothing all that much. I thought it looked a little too neutral for me.

Fryl, that $10 off $50 purchase coupon definitely is useful when buying Very Sexy makeup. I got mine the day before the line launched & I was trying to figure it all out in my head. Basically, it meant that I got a nail polish for free.

Anyway, since the Sparkling Lipsticks still aren't in yet, I've decided what my preferences are among the Perfect Lipsticks.

My Lipstick Preferences:
1) Sex Kitten
2) Sweet Release
3) Stiletto

I know Megan, after I sent off that coupon to you, low and behold, I end up getting a lip stick

Actually, on me Sweet Nothing gave me enough color to not look sick b/c often times I don't wear lip stick b/c I feel like it is too much color and makes me look extra pale. When I covered it with a lip gloss, it looked very nice.

I finally saw the Sparkling Lipstick! The testers weren't out yet, so what I did was opened the boxes & looked at each of them individually. I have an idea of what types of colors I like, so I took a risk & bought 3 of them w/o testing them.

Light It Up: dark pink (kinda similar to the color for the Make Out lip gloss)
Limelight: pink/neutral mix that goes on me fairly neutral, but looks nice
On Fire: red shade that looked a little coppery when I initially put it on, but after awhile looked more like a pinkish red

I didn't notice much glitter effect on my lips w/ Light It Up & Limelight, but then again, I didn't have those 2 on fairly long. On Fire was the last lipstick I put on & I just decided to wear that to dinner. I did notice a glittery effect on my lips though. Now that I've had a chance to play w/ all my lipstick, I'll rank them. I don't think I can compare these to the Perfect Lipsticks b/c I got these at a different time.

I passed up on the other 3 shades b/c they were too neutral for me. Paparazzi & Spotlight were creamy shades, while Stardust was more of a light brown.

So now I'm finally done acquiring Very Sexy makeup.

On Wed., I saw a poster that mentioned an LE collection called Heat. It showed a picture of Gisele wearing some of the shades. The items mentioned in the makeup credits on that photo were a Blushing Cream Duo in Heat, Mosaic Lip Palette in Ignite, & Silky Eye Shadows in Simmer & Sizzle.

I finally saw the Heat & Ignite shades today. They are the same type of iridescent boxes that the LE Sparkling Lip Glosses were in. I'm not sure if there are going to be more items, but that kinda makes it interesting that Very Sexy makeup is now doing LE lines on a seasonal basis.

I just had to mention something I saw. I don't know if anybody else has seen this, but there's a LE collection for Valentine's called Hot Kisses. I've only seen this @ the VS store 30 min. away from me, so this was quite a surprise.

I tried the lipstick in Kiss Me. It's a nice light pink shade, but was too close to my natural lip shade for me to use it as a lipstick. I also tried the lip glosses in First Kiss (hot pink) & Passionate Kiss (pinkish red), but they had too much glitter in them, so the tint didn't show up on my lips. I thought Last Kiss was a nice red shade, but I definitely wasn't liking the name of it. So there's a LE line of just lip color products, which are my major makeup thing, and yet I can't find anything that works for me.

A new collection of makeup is out & it's called Afterglow.

I liked the Eyes Closed shade. I might get one of those before too long. I liked the effect it had.

There's a new LE makeup collection that I thought I'd share if anyone's interested. It's the Diamond collection, which I guess is appropriate since it's the Apr. birthstone. Apparently all of the makeup items are infused w/ crushed diamonds. The Diamond collection is 3 for $30, otherwise the individual price tag stands.

But seriously, it seems everytime I turn around, there's a new Very Sexy makeup collection. And once again, there's really nothing that I need to have.

I saw the Very Sexy Diamonds collection today and it's a bit too sparkley even for me.

There's 10 new lip glosses out. I think the sign says that they're LE, but they don't have the typical iridescent packaging that their LE items have had.

I tried Baby Doll, which was a sheer pink. But it ended up being too sheer for me. Other shades I thought were pretty include Aroused (hot pink) & Fired Up (red). However, I didn't try those out b/c I haven't been using lip glosses all that much lately.

Really? I'll have to check those out.

Megan, I really liked that mini in Wet that you sent me. It worked out nicely on my lips.

I got one of the new lip lusters tonight. I think these might now be part of the permanent line since the store I went to had an area for them right under the lip glosses. It wasn't on an endcap or center area like I've seen in other stores.

I got the Aroused shade. It's a hot pink shade & looks like a raspberry color on the lips. I would be horribly remiss if I didn't get it.

I was in VS earlier today & noticed that the nail polishes were 2 for $9. Are these getting d/c'ed? If so, I'm not going to be . I've been wearing VS nail polish exclusively since 2003.
