Yayy for you on your new shoe-haul! The shoes are very pretty Yes. Do you just collect shoes (like you collect makeup winking ) or do you use them?

As for wearing them around the house while you clean, all you need is a french maid uniform and you've got it made. Oh and a feather duster winking.

Okay...I've been naughty. I've splurged BIG time, but only because it was love at first site Love!!!

Today I purchased these Gucci Montana Boots in Black Leather (1.8" heel). I was seriously contemplating between the 1.8" and the 3.3"...and am still wondering if I should have gotten the boots with the 3.3" heel instead.

I spoke with the manager of the Gucci Flagship and she said I was welcome to come back and exchange them within the week if I changed my mind. They both feel like I am walking on cloud 9, and I can't decide. What do you guys think?

Niiiiiice. I like lower heels - they're more comfortable & just overall easier to walk in.

Oh and ummmm while I was splurging at Gucci, these boots caught my eye as well. I am thinking of treating myself to this for my B-Day (in June Rotflol ). I don't splurge on shoes and clothes at all so it wouldn't be such an extreme expense (trying to reason with self).

I am in Love. What are your thoughts on these as well?

They're Gucci Apres Ski Boots:

Those are pretty funky-cool. Yes In general I do like things that are "different". Big Grin I'm not sure those particular boots would fit with MY wardrobe in general, but if *you* like them tons, have the extra $$, and would get a lot of use out of them, go for it! Smiler

Kimmer, as far as the 1st pair of boots, I'd personally go w/ the higher heel. But I think I'm a little bit shorter than you, so I think you'd be fine w/ the shorter heel.

As far as the 2nd pair of boots, I'll have to vote no on those. It's too furry. Errr

Fryl- Thanks girly flowers I am glad you think so! That's exactly how I reacted to them when I first saw them Yes. They were love at first fit Love.

I was walking by and saw a brown pair in the window...I told myself I'd go in and ask if they had them in black. If they didn't it'd be a sign that I shouldn't get them. Lo and behold, they did. I took it as a cosmic message Crazy rofl.
As for the second pair: Yay Thumbsup.

BBW Rawks- Thank ya thank ya m'dear hug, I am thinking you're both right Yes. The heels suit me at 1.8", plus I am used to walking with flat shoes on the most part, so anything higher might require a lot more getting used to. Thanks for the input as always flowers (you've helped me make a decision about pair #2 as well).

Megan- Thank you for your input girly Flower. I am thinking I've made my decision and it would seem more reasonable for me to keep the 1.8" boots Yes. I think 3.3" would be a bit much for me on boots that I intend on wearing often since I am so used to wearing shoes without heels these days.

PS: As for the Asperi Ski Boots...I am leaning towards YES, but I think I'll sleep on it and make my decision tomorrow Woot. I am just so psyched about the boots I DID get Love.

Fryl & Kimmer,

Nice shoes! Both are lovely!

Kimmer - I second what BBW Rawks said about the second pair of boots. Sleeping on it is a good idea since i'm sure it'll cost a good chunk of money Smiler

Okay, so I slept on it. Then mulled over it after I got up. Then thought about it on my way there. I thought about it a little more WHILE I was there. And of course I couldn't help but ponder over my decision after I bought them Big Grin.

Yup you guessed it. I couldn't resist...I am now the proud owner of the Gucci Asperi Ski Boots as well Yes. I do have pants that can over them as well so I wouldn't have to tuck my pants into them all the time...anyway I had to have them, they are too cute and VERY comfortable Love.

Thanks for your input Jade flowers...I am glad you like them Yes. You're right by the way, sleeping on it was a good idea...not that it changed much winking. I wasn't strong enough to resist (okay I didn't try but you get my meaning) LOL.

OOOOO, Kimmer! I Love those boots!! I don't believe you could have went wrong with either heel, just depends on how you plan to use them. Since you plan to walk a lot, the flatter ones would probably be more sensible, however the higher ones can bring out the sexy in you! Smiler

I love the ski boots as well! They are so funky, and I think you made a great decision by buying them. If you didn't, I believe you would have continued to think about them. Smiler Just think how cute you'll look while you're wearing them.

Besides, you say you don't splurge in that category often, and it's nice to treat yourself to something different. You work really hard, and you deserve them! Yes

If ever I were to experience buyers remorse, which I am not of course because I absolutely LOVE my new purchases, you m'dear would be the anecdote kiss. You've done a wonderful job of empowering me with the concept that splurging on myself is perfectly okay once in a while winking. You're the absolute best hug!

PS: I'm glad you like my choices Yes!
