I don't like to shop in stores usually. Lately, I've been going to TJMaxx for clothes. I used to stick to one type of shirt, and just buy it in all the colours available, sort of like a uniform. I also buy clothes at the Gap every now and then, but the quality is really poor there. If I had a Nordstrom Rack closer by I'd probably shop there most often.
Here, there, everywhere. I'm actually not as obsessed with clothes as I am with B&B products & handbags. Macy's, Target, The Limited, NY & Co. I have some cute skirts from J Crew - I think their stuff is way overpriced, so I wait for sales. Don't laugh, but some of my absolute FAVORITE pants for work are from Fashion Bug. A lot of their stuff is utter crap, imo, but they have a particular style of pant that is very nice and of very high quality.
Almost all of my clothes come from NY&Co or Target.
I've actually converted a bunch of my coworkers into addicts to those two stores now, too (along with BBW, of course!). There are actually lunch-hour shopping trips to the mall and for NY&Co, VS, and BBW; and Target (which is about five minutes from the mall).
I also love Ann Taylor, but I can only afford the clearance rack there.
I used to shop EVERYWHERE, and get a little bit here and a little bit there, but I just don't have the time/energy/patience for that anymore. I like to be able to walk right in and know exactly what size and cut I need.
Ciao! Janelle

Adding: If I had unlimited funds, I'd probably order most of my clothes from Boden & Anthropologie. I always drool over their catalogs. Their stuff has a funky, quirky edge that appeals to me. Some of Boden's stuff is priced quite well, actually, but I've not ordered anything yet because I hate having to pay return shipping (and having to go through the hassle of repacking stuff, going to the post office, etc.) for stuff that doesn't fit.
I really have no particular place to shop but some of my favorite places for clothes are Ross, Target, and Spiegel. It really just depends on what I'm looking for.
Nearly everything in my closet is from Old Navy, WalMart, and Target. If I had unlimited funds, well, I'd still shop at these three places. I'm not much of a clothes/shoes shopper.
I NEED new jeans, though. I only had two pairs from Old Navy that I bought two or three years ago, and they both have HUGE rips in the legs and butt.

I've also picked up some really cute things from Walmart. When I was working, I bought most of my khakis from there. I once interviewed for a company in Tampa that makes khakis. They were telling me how they made the same pants for many different companies like JCPenney, Walmart, Dillards, etc. Then they label them accordingly. So essentially sometimes you pay for the label on the pants even though they are the same. Go figure!
I'm not saying all "pants" are alike, however I personally buy what I like and I don't care what the label says. If it's a good quality item, I'm in.
I tend to buy mid range priced clothes. The stores I've been buying stuff from lately are The Limited & Express. I do like The Limited more than Express though.
I get my jeans from American Eagle. I used to like to get t-shirts from there, but they've gotten a little bit boring w/ their designs lately. Old Navy has some cute seasonal stuff & nice flip flops, but I don't spend as much there as I used to. I have a few t-shirts from Urban Outfitters, but I never wear them. One is a "Redheads Have More Fun" t-shirt & the other is the original design of the "Everyone Loves An Irish Girl" t-shirt.
I don't really buy clothes from Target except for the $5 seasonal t-shirts which I'll use as sleepwear. I do, however, buy a whole lot of other stuff from Target.
And I guess sleepwear counts as clothes, so I get about 99.9% of that from VS. My favorite lines from them are Pink & Sexy Little Things. I also like their pajama sets that they have out at the holidays.
I buy a lot of my clothes from Macy's (but I'm still mad that Macy's took over for Marshall Fields ), Banana Republic, Saks Off 5th (we have the nations largest off-5th here in Minneapolis!), Anthropoligie, Target (for workout clothes), J Crew, and NY & CO. I have to "dress up" for my job, so I have a fairly decent size wardrobe.
I ONLY buy things on sale though - the only way to go! And when I get sick of an item, I sell it on eBay and make some of my money back.
For the past 6 months, I've had to buy maternity clothes, so for that I've bought them at Old Navy, Gap, Target, JC Penney. In about 3 weeks, they are all going on Ebay!
Not pregnant, I usually buy my clothes at Old Navy, NY&Co, Target, Gap. I can't wait to start buying "normal" clothes again!!
