And whats the usual price difference in say something with a typical price like a charm ($28) does it vary?

I never bothered to look at the bags because of the Signature stuff but I am glad that I checked them out.

Elizabeth, I've been to an outlet store recently, and from what I saw I can tell that some handbags are specifically made for the outlets, but they also have bags that at one point were being sold in the regular stores.

Kimmer, I like the looks of the first one, but not the fabric.
The last two are really gorgeous. I usually prefer totes or hobos over satchels though, because they're easier to carry.
I think you should get one of the last two if you're looking for a professional looking handbag. But if it's for an everyday bag I'd go with #2 or #3.

Kimmer, absolutely, positively, the last two!!! They are gorgreous! They look roomy but not too big, stylish but not too trendy, classic but not boring. You can carry them to work or to the grocery store. They're PERFECT and I can't wait until the Coach store opens here soon, because I may just have to go get one (or two!) for myself!! I would get one in a each color!

Jade, I definitely like the second one!! The styling and shape are really great! I love the buckle on the strap, too.

Warning: I am a handbag enabler.

I love Coach and I have so many of them! However, I haven't purchased any for over two years although my husband did buy me a wristlet last year for Christmas. It is so difficult to choose because they are all beautiful. And as someone mentioned, it really depends on the intended purpose. I tend to like more of the classics and leathers rather than the signature because I find them more versatile. I really wish you could visit a store and "try" them on your shoulder as well as get a good visual. Perhaps you can work a trip to a Coach store in when you visit NY?? But I really don't think you can go wrong with either bag. They are very good quality, and they do last for a long, long time!! My oldest bag is probably 10 years old and it still looks great although it's been retired.

You've helped me narrow down my choices . Also, I've had something to say to each one of you so this post is probably going to be a long one...LOL...bear with me (please) .



Jade- LOL uh oh is definitely right girly...and it's all because of all the Coach-candy I've been seeing on the boards lately -> -> . I am having a really hard time trying to decide which one to get first (yup...first heh heh), but I've narrowed the choices down some.

As for your choices, they're both beautiful bags and great choices, but if I had to choose one of them, I'd go with the 'Signature Soft Duffle' . I am really diggin' the design and that buckle on the strap is the cherry on the sundae. SO cute!!! Did I say I narrowed down my choices ?
