The new VS floorset has sooooo many cute Pink things. I know they're targeted toward people younger than I (I'm 36), but I can't help loving the stuff regardless. I'll probably still love it when I'm 60. Anyway, I got a pair of sweats and a free mini Pink Dog (which is very cute).

I'm very happy w/ this new floorset. It's the best one this yr. so far. And I was worried there for awhile b/c the spring & summer stuff wasn't all that good. I've gotten all the things in the store that I want, so now I'm looking online for stuff I want. There are a few panties online that are of interest of me, so I just might have to place an online order. And BBW Rawks, not to worry, I'll probably be buying VS stuff when I'm 80 (but I'll look like I'm 60).

I remember Fryl saying a couple of days ago that she wanted to go check out the new Pink stuff. So Fryl, do you have any thoughts to offer on this new floorset yet?

Eventhough VS is just across the street from where I live, I still haven't had the chance to go. I'll be heading there pretty soon though, because I have a gift card for $10 off that expires soon. I'll let you know what I think of the new floorset. I did get a catalogue with the new Pink stuff in the mail this morning and their stuff is so adorable!

Lucky Fryl! I haven't gotten that catalog in yet, but all the stuff that's in the catalog is available online. Just for reference, a lot of stuff that's carried online & in the catalog is different than what's in stores. Usually there's been more overlap between the two, but not this time.

I really can not wait to go to VS now, since the store has stuff I haven't seen yet.
I think I may have to go tomorrow.

I got a pair of the Pink sweatpants today. They're charcoal grey and have "Pink Academy" on the back. Soo comfy! I really want the bling pants, too.

I've done an insane amount of shopping since all the holiday stuff came out at VS. But in my defense, I needed some new pj bottoms. And I wanted some satiny & sparkly bras, just to have something different from my regular bra wardrobe.

And since I've been doing some bra shopping lately, I've been unkindly reminded that VS charges more for bras in a certain size range. Something tells me I need to write an e-mail to corporate about this topic.

I saw the new Biofit bras last night. When I first heard about them, I was thinking to myself, "Oh crap..another marketing gimmick." But they looked really pretty in the store. I liked the satiny finish & the gems on the shoulder straps. I think I might cave & get one if/when they make one in emerald green or royal purple.

Hmm...I started shopping @ VS when I was 16 & I'm now almost 25, so I've seen my share of changes.

I'm glad that article mentioned up the Pink line. When it launched, it was more cute seasonal stuff than anything. Now it's leaning more towards the collegiate. When the whole collegiate theme came out, I was cool w/ it b/c I was in college at the time. But now that I'm "old", I wish they'd go back to the cute seasonal stuff. But I think the Pink bras would be good training bras; I wish those were around when I was 10-13.

I've always thought the Very Sexy collection has been over the top for my tastes. I prefer Sexy Little Things; it's more girly & flirty. I like their regular bras (not the adjustable cleavage one), cheeky panties, & tank tops. But I don't like the "lingerie" in that collection b/c a lot of it's see-thru or is so short that it'd practically expose your girl parts. I'm not really into the idea of "lingerie" (maybe this viewpoint will change in the future, who knows?), but I'd like to see something more like opaque slips in pretty colors that are mid-thigh length.

VS Cotton & BBV have always been good lines that I consider to be staples & the new design innovations they've introduced have made the pieces much more streamlined. But I don't like the prints for the VS Cotton underwear as much anymore.

I forgot to mention this in my other post, but I've heard rumors that Alessandra is pregnant. I'm beginning to think they're true since they're using Adriana & Karolina in the current marketing & The Ltd. is using someone else in their current marketing for the Lexie pants.

Megan, I heard that too about Alessandra! I totally believe it.. I bet she does the same thing Heidi did - give birth and hit the runway a month or so later.

I thought that was an interesting article. I do agree that some of the stuff is a little over-the-top, but I usually skip the lingerie section and focus on practical underwear when I shop at VS. I do like some of the Very Sexy bras however, the infinity edge is probably my favorite. I think sales at VS are suffering not so much due to a bad marketing approach as because of the state of the economy. I would spend a lot more at VS and other stores if more and more of our money wasn't going towards food and gasoline as the prices increase...

I got a $10 off any bra + free cotton panty coupon in the email today. I'm thinking of using it and at least seeing how the biofit bras fit.

I finally ended up trying the Biofit bra. It's basically the same as the BBV bras I normally wear. Also, I didn't care for the inside of the cup having "Biofit" written all across it. That design kinda reminded me of an LV bag.

On a happy note, I browsed through the new catalog & saw that BBV bras are available in mint green for the first time in 2 yrs. Last time, I really wanted one, but they sold out before I got around to getting one. So that's going on my wishlist.

You just have to try them on and see which one fits. It really depends on your shape and size.
