I don't care for really long hair on men, either.... ewwwww. In general, I go for the more clean-cut look (and blondes!)
I don't mind it TOO much if it is only long-ish. Ace Young from American Idol is a good example. It's just bad once they start pulling it into the low pony-tail, and it's all ratty and gross looking. Rat tails and mullets are just disgusting... there is no getting around that! |

I'm not a big fan of long hair either. The shorter the better
As far as Fabio, I remember hearing about that and seeing pictures, here they are, think it was just a 1 inch cut on the nose: http://images.google.com/images?q=fabio+bird&hl=en&lr=&...X&oi=images&ct=title |

Aha. Looking at the pictures, it seems like most of the blood was the bird's. Not so bad, just really really gross. If you look at the second pic, Fabio looks pissed and everyone else is laughing. Pretty funny.

Did anyone ever see that old Alfred Hitchcock movie, "The Birds?"
How appropriate for Fabio. |

I was reminded tonight of another fashion trend that I really don't care for. The lower back tattoo is so overrated, especially if it's a butterfly. I don't have anything against tattoos if they're done tastefully, however.

AWH... I like the lower back tatoos
I am just too chicken to get one done, not to mention my fiancee would have a fit. He said my belly button ring is enough |

I have a lot of tattoos, including one on my lower back. It's not a butterfly though.
Jeff, your explanation of a 'muffster' cracks me up, because now that I know that's what you mean - I can tell you with absolute certainty that I live in 'Muffsterville'. I really can't stand them, especially when I go to the grocery store. There's always at least 2 or 3 grouped up in an aisle, each with their own shopping cart - blocking the aisle as they gossip about another one. They don't move either, because it's 'all about them'. I guess a fashion pet peeve of mine would be men wearing shorts and black socks. That really drives me crazy. Also, the 12 and 13 year old girls at the mall who look like mini hookers with their butt cleavage and too tight shirts, cell phones glued to their face. I love capri pants although it's usually not warm enough to wear them here. A personal fashion pet peeve is not being able to find tops and bras that fit. I have been large busted since the 6th grade and finding tops that accomodate are hard to find. |

I like the lower back tattoo too. But the whole butterfly thing really is outdone, same with the Japanese or Chinese words. I want to get a tattoo but I can never decide on something. I'd want it to be something I won't regret later on.

Jade,
I think Chinese characters are kinda neat. Have a funny story to tell. Some of my friends recently had a 'tatoo party' where a tatooist comes to your house and everyone gets zapped. I went out of curiosity. One of the guys who attended wanted his name tatooed on his upper arm in Chinese. So he went across the street to a Chinese restaurant to have them write his name on a piece of paper so the 'artist' could tatoo him. Now I can read basic 'kanji' which is Chinese or Japanese but can have a 'different' meaning and interpretation. You DO NOT want to know what it said. Lesson...do some 'research' when getting 'names' tatooed on you. It could prove to be very embarrassing. |

Olfact,
I do not use politically incorrect language even in private. And trust that my friend will get it 'lasered' off. I gave him some 'cover up' for it. |

Jeff,
I use to think the Chinese words were neat. I mean I am Chinese so at least I would know what the word means. But here in Vancouver, every single girl has one one their lower back, it's either that or a butterfly. So that's why I don't care for it anymore. I would like to get some cool philosophical phrase and have that tattooed on my back but I haven't found any yet considering my Chinese sucks - my parents call it Chinglish when I try to speak it |

Angelina Jolie had some Buddhist striptures tatooed on her back which is rather 'novel.'
I believe there are pictures on the internet. They are written in an ancient form of Khmer or Lao (not sure which) based on Sanskrit. Now I CAN read those. I do have to give her credit for adopting children from third world countries. Am quite certain her children will have an 'interesting' life. |

not to change the subject, but speaking of
angelina, i think some of things she did were weird, but now i think shes become a different person and left her selfish ways behind. i think her tatoos are interesting.they arent for me, but to each his own i guess.her children will definately have a very different life. her pending addition, will be the genetic lottery winner indeed.good for her. |

A reduction is worth it!!! But you MUST, MUST MUST find a speciality store for bras. I wore the wrong bra size since I've had boobs. I've always been rather large.....okay, HUGE. I've always wanted my redution. 3 years ago after my son, I met another mom. She told me about a speciality store here. I went and was in shock. I was wearing a size 40DD bra It was a life changing moment for me to actually see how a bra was suppose to fit and a store that actually sold those sizes. The SA informed me that most places only sell up to a DD, sometimes maybe an E. So, to accodmate your cup size, they keep adding to the band until something fits. After the birth of my 2nd son, I had the reduction a year later. Though, I wanted to be a b cup, I ended up a 34DD. My friends were all in shock when I went to get fitted. They could believe what little I had left was a DD. I told them to get to this store, pronto. Still, bra fitters to this day seem to amaze me. The people at Nordstroms, Saks, and VS are all terrible bra fitters. Most of them do not believe me when I ask for something in a 34DD. They ask to measure me first. And they all come up with different #'s, but most tell me I should be wearing a 36 or 38. NOPE. 36 is way too big around the band and I'm not going near a 38 again. I'm just glad now I know what a good bra is suppose to feel like. It's truly an amazing experience. <---- I know I'm a freak but you must try it!!!!! |

with 2 small kids, I had been out of the churh loop for a while. DH and I started to get back into the routine, but now before I bought the kids there 'church' outfit. I grew up in a small town catholic church were we got dolled up every Sunday. so, I get my 3 and 1 year old dressed in there khakis, button up shirts, and new dress shoes to arrive a chuch sitting next to grown men in blue jean cut-offs and slip on sandals I was shocked to see how much has changed. |

I've never had a bra fit me. This may gross some of you out, but I simply went braless for a while because I got sick of it.

Wendy,
I have "nothing" and am so jealous of people that have the opposite problem. I could easily go bra-less (no one would notice) I would never get implants though. I'm looking at the bright side though, less drooping as I get older. |
